Just curious if anyone has ideas about the upcoming Nov 11th Regional Conference broadcast from SLC.

We have heard from our temple president that he has been meeting with members of the twelve at small leadership conference with stake presidents and some bishops. Are the two tied together? We keep getting bits and pieces of stuff from our preparation meetings at the temple, but nothings real solid. I'm wondering if it has to do with the declining attendance at most temples and perhaps the urging of going to the temple more often.

I've not heard a thing about this at church. How much area does the regional conference cover?

All I've been told is that the majority or all of the state will be involved.

They'll probably announce it next week, then. Problem: I will be returning from a necessary trip and won't hear the announcement. Perhaps I can find out from someone, locally, if it includes us.

The broadcast on November 11 will be the Sunday session of stake conference for all of Arizona, I believe. These stake conference broadcasts are now regularly scheduled and have been going on for a few years already.

The priesthood leadership conferences that have been taking place in Arizona recently seem to be scheduled every three years. The last one was in 2009.

Oh. Okay. Thanks. So it's the regular televised stake conference. I knew these included several areas at a time, but I got the idea that this was a bigger meeting than normal.

I just called my sister in law, who is in the next stake over, and she hasn't heard about the conference either, but she said she'd ask around.

My sil just called back with an affirmative answer.

I really appreciate this thread. Thank you. Without it, I would have gone to church as usual, then wondered why no one was there.

Maybe l am being blonde....isn't Nov 11 th a weds? In Sun City West, they announced an all AZ Conference on Nov 7/8th
