If you've never read any of my blog entries, please read just this one, particularly if you believe in Jesus Christ, whatever denomination you belong to. You don't have to comment or like, just read it one time and maybe let it work in your life. Thank you.

I spoke in sacrament meeting on Sunday about suffering and gratitude. I believe I pushed the envelope with this one, but it was well received.

Beautiful, Marc. So very much needed RIGHT NOW. I loved that analogy of the river rocks and loved that final picture in the post...it's a tear jerker of a pic... THAT HAS TO BE US, IN ALL SITUATIONS.

I wanted to share this tomorrow, but I think most people here in the states will be celebrating Independence Day and having fun. I'm sharing this today for those who are spending it quietly in their homes. It is a free PDF manuscript of my book which you can read any time. My heart aches for the many people who don't understand the deep waters they will be treading in the coming years. Maybe this book will make a difference in your life to prepare for what is coming.

Today marks the ten year anniversary of a little blog I started. It was a call to action by M. Russell Ballard.

I've been studying Isaiah's words ten years now. To look deeply into Isaiah is to look deeply in the mirror. We don't always like what we see. Since I lectured from some of his chapters yesterday in church, I figured this is a good time to share some uncomfortable thoughts.

I've been studying Isaiah for the last ten years and have written several blogs. Just archiving a list here for now. Not sure how many more posts I'll write; depends on inspiration. Maybe one more about Isaiah in the Book of Mormon, but that's a way off.

Great Are the Words of Isaiah
Isaiah: Archetypes and Ascension

luke 18
27. And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

jst luke 18
27. And he said unto them, It is impossible for them who trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God; but he who forsaketh the things which are of this world, it is possible with God, that he should enter in.

I love this.

Brigham Young agrees with the thrust of your argument. I wrote a paper about it at one point because President Nelson and President Young have a genuine controversy about what it means to "be ye therefore perfect".

I think I posted it here on the form a long time ago. I'll see if I can dig it up, if you're interested.
