Our forum members
Just wanted to make a quick comment in regards to most of the forum members we have here - I think 90% or so that are members here and post with regularity are intelligent, well-spoken and sincere in their desires and for this I am grateful. There are few places on the internet like this forum where you can carry on intelligent and intellectual conversations with like-minded people who have a fairly good grasp on world and current events, truths, politics and gospel principles. I've been to discussion forums where the spelling, grammar and vocabulary hasn't been any better than about a 9th grade level, but here, it's obvious most are well-educated with IQ's and communication abilities that outshine most others out there.
Anyway - thanks to all of you who contribute to the forum and for your intellectual (and spiritual) overtones! :ymhug:

Re: Our forum members
You are such a nice person Truth! I am the type of person who does not like detail. I know I am not intellectual when it comes to politics. I am however a person who did well in school. I look at the big picture, make up my mind and then go with it. I am not a follower. I know this is the true restored church on the earth today. Nobody will ever change my mind. Stubborn if you will.
I also enjoy this forum very much. I love to laugh and wish we could be a little more light hearted. I also find the people on this forum to be forgiving and kind. Thank-you everybody for letting me stay and putting up with my sometimes baseless opinions. I have learned much and enjoy rubbing elbows with such great and intellectual people.

Re: Our forum members
Actually, fourth grade was the last year I was a straight A student. Even after that I always aced my tests (except math (-| ). In fact, each year I took the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, I ranked in the 98th percentile (of all those in my grade that took the ITBS, only 2% did as good or better than me). :-BRand wrote:I'm just wondering how many tries it took you to get through the fourth grade?SmallFarm wrote:I dropped out my fourth year of ninth grade) :ymparty: :ymcowboy:

I enjoy this forum a great deal. I've visiting a few and they seem so elementary. Maybe that's what they are meant to be, but I enjoy the challenge of going beyond the surface. There are so many varying views you never know what you are going to read each day. The element of surprise

I won the second grade spelling bee in my school. Even though they wouldn't let us leave to go to the restroom, and i wound up wetting my pants just before I got up to spell my last couple of words.Juliette wrote:P.S. I won most of the spelling bees! :p

That is the best story I have ever heard on "Enduring to the End". Well done! That one alone should get you some serious celestial consideration.

Thanks for your kind words regarding the members of the forum. Considering some of the heated discussions that take place here, it is nice to hear conciliatory words among its members as well. I've appreciated perspectives, opinions, insights, observations, and back-and-forth discussions that we share here. Of course, we aren't solving the world's problems, but the forum has been a nice little home away from home on the Internet for me, providing a place to discuss and learn more about matters that I find interesting and worthwhile.
