What would you do?

With things being what they are today, would you consider praying that if a righteous man cannot obtain the office of president that a wicked man is not allowed to?

This crossed my mind last night, while I was praying, and I have pondered on it some today, so I thought I would see what you all think about it.

What about praying to be liberated? Or for peace to return? Or to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth?

Righteous and wicked. Is there a middle ground? If there is, lets say a gray area...do you think a middle ground president would be more susceptible to the wicked that surrounds them or the righteousness. I believe that a righteous president is all we can accept because they will be able to distinguish between that which is true and/or false. Someone in the middle will have a much harder time with that. So I think its down to righteous or wicked. Just an opinion.

As for praying about being liberated, peace to return, etc. Pray for what you desire but pray that your desires align with HIS will.

I guess in the end all those things you want will be given.

Ron Paul is the only righteous statesman running for president right now, so without him, there is a slim-to-none chance of our nation returning back to Constitutional principles. With everyone else being socialists/globalists, any one of those puppets will gladly continue the LDG's agenda. I can't pray for wicked people to change.

So I still pray for Ron Paul that he will continue to awaken those ready to receive the truths of freedom that he preaches. That is the biggest mission that Dr. Paul is doing now. I don't really care that he is getting cheated out of votes from Diebold or that he will not win. I just care that he is doing what God put him on this earth to do; teach truth and principles to those spiritually ready to receive it.

With Ron Paul being the only righteous man in the running, if your prayer was to be granted, who/what is there that could fulfill it? They are all either wicked or deceived, cowardly or co-opted. I used to push for Orrin Hatch or Alan Keyes in 2000; each has since been compromised. Who or what is left?

A friend from college used to write in Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles as her choice for president. Do we do the same or similar?

If Ron Paul was unable to get the office due to the wickedness of the land, then I would prefer no president ie: the Lord cleansing the wicked rather then having any more tyranny then we already have.

Amen to that. I'm done voting for the "lesser of two evils". I now vote for truth and freedom...nothing less.

When the calls come to us to take positions, even when voluntary, we need to take them. I am referring to political things.

Israel will eventually need to build the Kingdom of God politically, if a call comes to you, I urge you to accept it.

I just had one come to me this morning, and I would appreciate your prayers as I do this.

Look into your area for Ron's campaign, and stand a little taller then you thought you could.

I pray for the death of evil men. My cousin and I decided we had had enough of Dr. Walter Martin and prayed he would die every single day. He died suddenly within the year.

He was the original Bible Answer Man. He wrote Kingdom of the Cult. He was about as ANTI-LDS as a person could get. Lie after lie. He strongly promoted the Solomon Spaulding wrote the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith stole it from him theory.

To quote Sirius Black from Harry Potter "The world isn't divided between good people and death eaters, we all have light and darkness within us."

The point is to tap into the spirit of Christ to enlighten any and all that we come in contact with. To bring out the light within us all. To use the grace that God has given us to inspire those to find their own grace. The point is to love. When we focus on the wickedness and unrighteousness in the world that's all we see, and that's all we see in people. I agree that this country is being led by evil men and women. However, we must recognize that we are all offspring of deity, every last one of us, and that we above all things are commanded to love. Despite how things look the world is not going to Hell in a hand basket. It is going to Christ and our Father in Heaven. The plan is perfect. It is our job to fight for the cause of Christ, and that means love unfeigned. The Lord knows how to take care of his children. Whether Ron wins or not, he is doing what he was meant to do, and how many are affected by his truthfullness and bravery?

Do what you know you were meant to do and everything will be alright in the end, and your day to day life will have joy despite what's going on around you. Building the Kingdom is a great work, we don't have time to focus on what's wrong, just be aware of it and outshine it with Christ's light.
