New to the site

Hello there everyone. My real name is Shawn. I grew up in Utah but have lived in Idaho for 7 years now.
Since I was very young, I have had an urging or some sort of longing within me to always seek for truth. I believe truth exists all around us as we are able to objectively analyze such. The spirit is key to this. As Christ said that he is the way, the truth, and the light, I believe that he is the one source of truth, and the way back to our Father in Heaven. There can only be one version of truth. My quest, and much of the satisfying of that longing I have felt for so long, is to hopefully make myself able, with the help of the Spirit, to recognize the truth of all things.
Anyway, I have toyed with a little blogging, and have looked at many conservative, and LDS influenced sites. I happened upon this site the other day and was impressed with the focus of keeping objectivity and the Spirit involved in the discussions here.
I have long been a student of Skousen and Ezra Benson, and maintaining the Lords Plan of Salvation in upholding freedom and the defenders of it. I look forward to some discussions and more ideas. Thank you to those who have put forward what they feel. I only ask that all keep humility and objectivity in mind always.
