then Asia and other bond holders would invade the USA to enforce their claims.
This is at one point where I can see the Lord causing the seas and airs to be in turmoil, preventing all but the righteous, decent (of other faiths), and peace-loving to come unto Zion (Western Hemisphere).

Odds are, the Chinese would be blocked, based on their motives.

Then why aren't our armies and navies blocked from doing likewise to others? Because this is the promised land and our soldiers are "decent?" Why isn't the original promised land of Moses fame so favored?

I don't buy it. We have to reclaim the moral high ground first.

Many have seen a Chinese army invasion, perhaps your assumptions regarding the decency of their army is flawed?

I just have a problem with the hypocrisy that we deserve this divine intervention all the while wrecking the world with our armies and corporatocracy.

No, I think what Darren posted on Ezekial 38 is true.

Those that do not know God will come and cleanse Israel, those places that once were deserts and desolated that are now filled with people.

I can see them easily having an ally with the Latins that want their land back.

They could easily use the methods of commerce to suddenly bring in an army and equipment..

Someone tell me how in the world is it a benefit to US sovereignty to have a Mexican Customs all the way in Kansas City, Missouri?!

Shouldn't there be customs at our border? Not just what is going into Canada?

Our borders are wide open, our military is stationed all over the world, our economy is weakening, we are sitting ducks!

Because the prophecy I am referring to occurs LATER in the Lord's time line...AFTER Adam-Ondi-Ahman, 3 1/2 years of cleansing in the western hemisphere, the fall of the 1st beast, and the building of New Jerusalem...the Western Hemisphere will be cut off from the rest of the world...

THEN as the 2nd beast rises in the East, the righteous will be called to come to the West (Zion), and the decent and peace lovers will flee and follow...all 3 groups will be allowed to pass by faith into the West unto Zion.

And the 2nd beast turns its attention towards Israel...

I recently read this in Helaman Chapter 1. It really stood out to me because of the many discussions I have heard and read about a foreign invader coming into America. The Nephites didn't think it would happen to them either. :?

14 And it came to pass in the *forty and first year of the reign of the judges, that the Lamanites had gathered together an innumerable army of men, and aarmed them with swords, and with cimeters and with bows, and with arrows, and with head-plates, and with breastplates, and with all manner of shields of every kind.
15 And they came down again that they might pitch battle against the Nephites. And they were led by a man whose name was aCoriantumr; and he was a descendant of Zarahemla; and he was a bdissenter from among the Nephites; and he was a large and a mighty man.
16 Therefore, the king of the Lamanites, whose name was Tubaloth, who was the son of aAmmoron, supposing that Coriantumr, being a mighty man, could stand against the Nephites, with his strength and also with his great bwisdom, insomuch that by sending him forth he should gain power over the Nephites—
17 Therefore he did astir them up to anger, and he did gather together his armies, and he did appoint Coriantumr to be their leader, and did cause that they should march down to the land of Zarahemla to battle against the Nephites.
18 And it came to pass that because of so much contention and so much difficulty in the government, that they had not kept sufficient guards in the land of Zarahemla; for they had supposed that the Lamanites durst not come into the heart of their lands to attack that great city Zarahemla.
19 But it came to pass that Coriantumr did march forth at the head of his numerous host, and came upon the inhabitants of the city, and their march was with such exceedingly great speed that there was no time for the Nephites to gather together their armies.
20 Therefore Coriantumr did cut down the watch by the entrance of the city, and did march forth with his whole army into the city, and they did slay every one who did oppose them, insomuch that they did take possession of the whole city.

My husband and I have thought about that too, and with this NAFTA super highway coming through the heart of the land, I am getting uncomfortable.. to be honest, I think I will leave the higher populated areas soon.. How soon don't know.. just know that I keep getting this impression and to be prepared to do it in a moments notice.

Definitely good advice, and it is the spirit I am waiting for as to when, but I have already been told to prepare by doing some packing and other preparations.

I am not going into the wilderness, but just a less populated area.
