Question on United Order

I'd like to know the most commonly held belief(s) among LDS as to when they think the church will live United Order.
I'm not looking for the "official" church position on this topic. I'd just like to know commonly held thoughts among faithful LDS on it.
So, when do you think United Order will be lived?
So far, the most common answer I personally have heard when I ask this question is "I don't know", and the second most common answer is "in the next life".

I don't think the Church will ever live it. Consecration will be lived in Zion, but that won't be the Church.

Agreed. Zion will be a gift from the Lord, and I believe it will come when we want it to come. For us to want it, I think things are going to have to get pretty bad. We will build it out of necessity, I think.

Living the principles of consecration begin in the hearts and minds of individuals and become a way of living and relating with others. Being one, sharing, working together, producing , loving, receiving truth, and living with the companionship of the Holy Spirit can be learned and put into practice every day. As larger numbers of people put the principles into practice a more formal order will be established.
Observing the harmony in nature, and striving to live closer and more in harmony with all living things can bring our role as stewards more into focus. Honey Bees are darn near perfect and a good example for us. I am fascinated with bees and Probiotics. If we could be as good as the bees, Zion would be redeemed tomorrow.

It is my understanding, the United Order was just an attempt to live the Law of Consecration. The law of consecration is being lived by some now, and will be lived in Zion as a whole, but not in the church as a body as said by DrJay.

In my opinion, the united order, or law of consecration, and polygamy, being higher laws will be established around the same time, and I believe that that will be just prior to the millennium. Isaiah 4:1 states in that day seven women will take hold of one man, but it is significant that this verse appears at the end of chapter 3 in the JST indicating that it would be just prior to the millennium. In other words, chapter 3 deals the destruction in the last days, and chapter 4 deals with the millennium. So, according to this, there would be a burning destruction, polygamy (probably when Zion and Adam return), and then the millennium. The fact that there are seven women for each man indicates to me that there will also be a united order in which all will be of equal status.

When temples are the center of our hearts and communities and when the anti-temples (government buildings, banks, hospitals, schools, police stations) are not.

I want to correct a silly mistake I made on my prior post here. It is actually war which is the main culprit in contributing to the vast disproportionate ratio of women to men.

"If we build it He will come." We will live the United Order in Zion after the Abomination of Desolation (5th Trumpet/Nuclear First Strike). Those who remain will gather into the stakes of Zion and eventually be gathered to Missouri. A vanguard group of LDS will be called to Adam-ondi-ahmen to lay the foundation of Zion which will be established on Celestial Principles.
... Zion can be built only upon celestial principles ( see D&C 105:5 ).
Even the Millennium is a Terrestrial Paradisciacal state. Zion will be established on Celestial principles. Zion is not a stepping stone to something else. The progression that will occur during the Millennium will be the expansion of Zion and Celestial law until it fills the whole Earth. Then Christ will present the Earth and it's people to His Father and declare, "the work is done."
The United Order is not that difficult to live. Its not all that big of change from what we do now. When we really understand how to impliment it we will say, "why didn't we always live this way?"
United Order:
No retirement. Since there is no retirement, there is no need to hoard for the future. Everyone saves for a rainy day together After wants and needs are purchaced. Deposited money goes into immediate neighborhood insurance fund. Benificiaries less likely to mooch because they are your immediate neighbors.
