Does anyone here NOT think the Federal Reserve are pirates?

I just ask this because my brother seems to think there isn't anything wrong with the Federal Reserve.

No matter how much I simplify it to granny put $300 under the mattress in 1913, which could then buy X. Granny takes the $300 out in 2008 and can buy X. Why is it worth less? Some people don't get the part about why it's worth less, who benefits or else they don't see a problem with it. I'm not sure which, but I feel like no one believe 2+2=4 anymore.

Why would anyone NOT get that it's theft to water down the lemonade? Usually I can at least get an abstract view of why someone thinks as they do, but this has me stumped!

Maybe it is too much to take in that way.. LOL

So, show that the Congress has the right to coin money.

Show that the Federal Reserve does that and charges Interest.

Look up the footnotes in the scriptures for Usury...

THAT helped me understand the IRS and Taxes and Socialism and everything.

Show that because the Fed Res creates the money with interest, there is never enough money to pay it all off, so we are forever slaves.

That's probably wise. It seems to me that these are logical conclusions...

Just frustrated I guess because... well, no one in my family, except Jeremy who lives in Alaska for heavens sake, agrees with me. I know them well enough to know that they probably all wonder why I don't get it, or what corrupted my thinking. My husband agrees but he doesn't like talking about politics and his family members are all over the board with their political beliefs. I don't even try over there, but with my parents and siblings I do. They think I'm a gullible, perhaps silly and hotheaded person who is not thinking rationally. Maybe I am. Perhaps motherhood fried enough brain cells and coupled with a lack of sleep it is I who will believe anything.

Dad actually gets most of it, but is very sensitive to a delicate delivery. He isn't willing to budge though like Mark on those issues. Actually they must be kindred spirits or something. He gets all the food storage preparations stuff and even sees that everything is contorted out of shape and controlled. The problem is that he only sees the one side of the pincers (as he refuses to even look the other way). Chris on the other hand! He defines all is well in Zion. All of us are really good at playing devil's advocate, the problem comes when that becomes excellent and easy justification for our ignorance.

You know what you know and don't what you don't and it is as simple as that.
