Hi, just wanted to stop in here and introduce myself. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons). I know there are a lot of people who identify themselves as "LDS" or "Mormons" simply because they claim to believe in the Book of Mormon and follow it's teachings. I am currently considering leaving the church and having my name taken off church records. I hope I will be allowed to post here and express some of my concerns and possibly ask questions which will help me in my search for truth.

Welcome, Rathus. I am not in charge of this forum, but I know I am glad to learn from your perspective. I am sad to hear that you are thinking to leave the LDS Church.
Sometimes when I experience moments of doubt, I try to remember the scripture: "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward" (Heb 10:35).
It would be such a tragedy for you to leave so close to the end when Babylon is about to fall, and Zion will be left standing.
