Fasting for Ron Paul

Is there anyone who is willing to participate with me in a day of fasting for Ron Paul? It doesn't necessarily have to be fast Sunday in February... any day is OK with me.

An appropriate request in this would be that the American people, and especially LDSs, be awakened to the long term benefits of Ron Paul's hope for America, as well as to the NWO goals of the other cnadidates.

I will do this on Sunday if that is the day we are thinking. I missed last fast Sunday fast so I was planning on it anyway.

OK then... Sunday it is! I can fast for two straight Sundays, especially when it involves Dr. Paul. May the Lord bless our efforts and Ron Paul's quest to turn our country around.

Welcome caddis! Is that name a nod to a caddis fly?

"Welcome caddis! Is that name a nod to a caddis fly?"
It sure is! I'm an avid flyfisher. Grew up bass fishing in the midwest, then moved west and got addicted to "slinging bugs".

P.S....thanks for the welcome. This board has played a huge role in my "awakening".

Great group of members here!

Hey Caddis,
Boise huh? I'm in Kuna, maybe we know each other somehow? I'll PM you.

Sounds good! Glad to know there is at least one other person who recognizes "our awful situation" (other than my wife) in the area.

I have many a fond memory of midnight sun grayling and rainbow rises to a black ant or wooly worm on Piledriver Slough in interior Alaska. Great to pick up another fisher here!

There is nothing quite like seeing a fish rise and gently suck the fly right off the top. Man I love that. One of these days I plan on making a trip to your neck of the woods to throw a few bugs.
My apologies to everyone. I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

Thank you everyone for fasting and praying!
I wanted to say that today has been a great Sunday, and during sacrament meeting one of the songs really hit me deeply.
"Carry On"
Especially the portions that say "Stalwart and brave we stand. On the rock our fathers planted, for us in this goodly land."
"We'll build on the rock they planted a palace to the King."
I just really felt strongly about this, and that we were literally going to build on what our fathers started. Stones that they literally laid in this chosen land, and that it would happen in my lifetime and that liberty in the end will once again overcome captivity.

I'd like to publicly say thank you to all who participated in a special fast yesterday for Dr. Paul... I just hope the Lord does something to help Ron and his quest for leading our country as the next President. My wife thought I was a little weird when I told her yesterday that I was fasting for Dr. Paul. She hasn't quite adopted the same passion I have for our constitution and the truth and righteousness that is needed so badly in our nation right now, especially in Washington, but at least she acknowledges the problems and can see that all is not well in Zion and knows something needs to be done.

Because of several PMs I have gotten I have deleted all replies from this post on for a general lack of decency.
