Counting Tender Mercies

I'd like to share a couple of things that I count as tender mercies from the Lord that have happened the last few days.

First, I picked up my trailer from my brother's house, and had a problem attaching it to the ball on my SUV correctly. The locking mechanism wasn't sliding into place correctly, and I was getting cold - so I grabbed a hammer and started beating it until it finally submitted. I pulled it about 8-9 miles along pretty busy roads and had no problems until I was pulling up in front of my house and then a little bump threw the trailer off the ball. Luckily there was about 3 inches of packed snow on the ground, so it didn't damage anything. I got out and inspected what had happened and realized this could have been much worse if the trailer came unhitched while I was on the road. I recognize this as a blessing.

The second instance I would like to share came just this morning as I came to work. I have a few friends here whom I really like. One is a like-minded brother who is on his high council. The second is a guy my age (25ish) who was born into the Church, went on a mission and is a great kid, but doesn't really like getting into some of the topics of discussion we bring up. He hates guns and wants nothing to do with politics. The third brother is about 35. He came to America about 10 years ago as a refugee from Bosnia. He also has had no interest in politics, and he really doesn't like any kind of religion. He has seen some pretty messed up stuff in his life living through a war and doesn't like all of the bloodshed throughout history done in the name of religion.

Anyhow, the first brother and I have been trying with limited success for the last couple years to involve our friends in the good fight. Just this morning my Bosnian friend came to find me as soon as I signed in and anxiously asked me "Have you heard of a movie called 'Freedom to Fascism'?" I said, "Of course, I have it on my computer and backed up on my phone's flash drive as well as my portable hard drive and my PS3." He then went on to say how amazing it was and how he had no idea about the taxes and the Federal Reserve being run by private individuals. He even caught the concept of how the income tax is based on a supposition that our labor is not our owned. It got him really angry and he said how he now wants to support Ron Paul because he is the only one who is even addressing these issues. I was blown away!

This too was a blessing to me. I feel great happiness in my heart to see him open his eyes to what is going on. It was great also to see his new found zeal in wanting to share this with everyone else.

Truth is prevailing. Eyes are opening. It makes it all worth while.

Burn copies and send them around if you can.. or at least go and share your copies with others.

I have been trying to get an order for them, there are several people here that refuse to use the internet (it is evil) that want to see it.

People who are religious and believe the internet is evil are naive... if it is so evil, why would God give the technology and knowledge to man and allow it to even exist?

Regarding Russo's "Freedom to Fascism" movie... my Mother-in-Law saw it a few months ago for the first time and is now on a mission like myself to spread the word. She gave it to her best friend back in November to see and she has since been spreading it around to her co-workers, acquiantances, etc., including the DVD "911 Mysteries". It's going to take people like us to wake others up! There are too many apathetic individuals who only know what is in the newspaper or on the local news, and sometimes, not even that much. I feel a sense of responsibility to get this kind of information out to people because I believe the Lord gave me the desire and interest to know the truth of things almost 10 years ago and since then, I've done a lot of research, study and reading on matters pertaining to financial and political truths on a lot of subjects that people need to be aware of. Individually, we are nothing, but as a group of citizens concerned for the welfare of ourselves and nation, we can be the death for the 'establishment', bankers, global elite and money masters. This is why I have jumped on to the Ron Paul ship... to me, he is the epitome of the changes that need to happen within our system of government in order to return it to the principles upon which it was founded.

I was talking with a childhood friend the other day. We were talking about all the crazy things we did when we were young, very young. At 8 years old we hiked up the mountain to a place called saddle rock. It's a steep hike and at the top there's some pretty hairy cliffs. We could view all of Cache Valley. We were laughing at ourselves for thinking that Logan had a square lake (turns out it was just the sewer lagoons, who knew??). But we were blessed with safety. Another time we (probably 7 years old) were playing around on the foothills and found ouselves right in the middle of a running herd of elk. Again, blessed with safety. Another time in kindergarten we raced our big wheels down a very steep hill. I'm not kidding when I say the laws of physics ceased to exist for us that day.

By talking about and remembering past experiences we realized the hand of the Lord in so many experiences. I had a very blessed childhood. So many tender mercies. My whole life is a tender mercy.

Count your many blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

I too have many experiences. I think that I can count them daily.

I would share, but it seems overwhelming to try to do so.

But I guess I will mention one that was when I was on my way to Utah. Even that trip there were many times. But, as we were heading down the canyon south of Rock Springs, but north of Evanston, we hit a blizzard. It quickly went from slush to frozen, and to make a long story short, I fish tailed, swerved across the lanes twice, spun all the way around, let go of the wheel, and then ended up on the grass three inches from the guard rail of the traffic going the opposite direction. The rear of the blazer was still out in the "fast lane." I was sure that we were going to die. (my 2 daughters and I). But, the semi's saw us and moved over. A guy stopped to help us, and a semi blocked the other traffic so it would not hit us, and he and another semi driver escorted us down to Evanston. Eventually I found my husband again at the port of entry in Utah.

I KNEW that I was blessed. I honestly do not know how all those cars missed us that were coming at us... it was amazing.

Way too many stories to relate! Lost in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter in Alaska (and no one had a clue where we were). Car wrecks and almost wrecks. Rock climbing accidents. Guns and bad people. Thin ice a few times that didn't hold. Bears. Various poisonous critters in and out of the water etc...

I honestly cannot now recall all of the times that I unequivocally knew the Lord had intervened in my behalf. If not a hundred times, close enough, likely more. Each one a great story.
