New Guy

Post by Massive »

Hello forum. I'm new, obviously. Thought I'd introduce myself and say hello. Here's a little about me ...

I converted to the church last year. I was never a member of any other church before my baptism into the LDS Church, so I converted from nothing. I was married in the Salt Lake Temple over the summer. She grew up in the church and has been the greatest blessing in my conversion and in life. She graduated from BYU a few years ago and is working while I finish school. No kids yet but we're practicing real hard on our cat. I hope our kids come liter box trained.

That's me, well the important parts anyway. Hi! :)

Welcome, Massive. You'll read all kinds of opinions here, so don't be too shocked. Let your wife help you answer the questions you'll inevitably have. Not everyone on the forum is MSM (main stream Mormon), so be prepared to rely on the Holy Ghost for direction and guidance.

For which I say, thank heavens!

Not that I enjoy wading thru all the fundamentalist stuff, but I am not a huge fan of the Pharisees of the mainstream, either.

The mainstream is asleep, the fundies have ADHD... (no offense intended to anyone suffering with ADHD.)

Oh, and a hearty welcome to you Massive...look forward to hearing more from you and about you.
