Hi,

First, a little about myself. I live in the San Diego area, am 29 years old, served in Alabama Birmingam Mission, and was sealed to my wife in the San Diego Temple in 2008. I have a strong testimony of our Saviour Jesus Christ and know the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God. I am a lover of liberty.

I post on lds.net somtimes. Someone there let me on to you guys. I have been quite awake to the fact that Secret Combinations have been running things for a while. My "awakening" took place when I watched the "Obama Deception" by Alex Jones. After that, I watched almost every documentary Alex Jones has made and became a regular listener to his radio show.

For the last couple years I have felt alone. I didn't have any LDS friends that espoused the same political views that I have. Reading the Book of Mormon has "awakened" me even further to what is going on. I realized right away that Secret Combinations have indeed infiltrated all of our institutions.

I am happy to be here and speak with some like minded people!

Welcome to the forum! And thanks for sharing some of your awakening story. I'm definitely grateful for all that Alex Jones has done in exposing corruption. I discovered him early on in my awakening process and also watched all of his documentaries... Eventually I discovered the teachings of Ezra Taft Benson, other prophets, W. Cleon Skousen, and my life has never been the same.

I think Alex Jones does a good job of exposing corruption. However, he fails to address the spiritual element involved in the grand scheme of things. The battle of liberty vs. tyranny is a spiritual battle from the beginning of time. The Book of Mormon and the Prophets give us a more complete view on what is going on.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I learned quite a bit from Alex Jones and he has made some great educational tools to share with others. Not everyone on this forum likes him though....but that is okay, at least we are individualists and not members of the Borg Hive. )

Yes, and that's part of the reason why my primary source on Liberty education has switched to the scriptures and teachings of the prophets. I would definitely recommend an Ezra Taft Benson article/video before recommending Alex Jones... but I don't dislike Alex, I know of a lot of people that have begun to wake up because of Alex Jones... he's doing some good.
