If the prophet said a nuke would fall on my house, I would assume that I was supposed to go (as in be forewarned and flee beforehand), or supposed to go (to the other side of the veil).
Likely the first scenario Chel. Either way I would strongly advise keeping a small kit with you always.
I do not believe that we should put much stock in the prophecy since he cannot receive inspiration for the church (outside of his authorized stewardship). But I do think that it stands as an additional witness and in that is valuable.
At any rate I too have felt the promptings regarding early spring.

Not sure how we got from SLC vanity to nuclear holocaust, but oh well...I've been away a few days.
D&C 84:
64 Therefore, as I said unto mine apostles I say unto you again, that every soul who believeth on your words, and is baptized by water for the remission of sins, shall receive the Holy Ghost.
65 And these signs shall follow them that believe—
66 In my name they shall do many wonderful works;
67 In my name they shall cast out devils;
68 In my name they shall heal the sick;
69 In my name they shall open the eyes of the blind, and unstop the ears of the deaf;
70 And the tongue of the dumb shall speak;
71 And if any man shall administer poison unto them it shall not hurt them;
72 And the poison of a serpent shall not have power to harm them.
73 But a commandment I give unto them, that they shall not boast themselves of these things, neither speak them before the world; for these things are given unto you for your profit and for salvation.
Be sure to put in a supply of activated charcoal! We found a terribly injured ewe a couple of weeks ago with wounds that were quite beyond my nonsurgical skill.
We prayed a lot over her - she is one of my purebred Leisters and a 'commodity' investment. I bathed her wounds with calendula infusion, gave her antibiotic shots, and force fed her enriched fluids until she was able to eat solids again. After flushing out her extremely deep wounds I 'puffed' activated charcoal - which I had carefully funneled into an empty powder container (soft sides/narrow opening) - into the wound openings.
The wounds are closing with healthy tissue! Something I would not have imagined possible considering how deep, jagged and infected they were.
I'm not willing to accept an animal's demise without going to the Lord in humble prayer for help and guidance. The Lord can and will - if it be His will to do so at that particular time and circumstance - part the Red Sea when our enemies seeks to destroy.
I found immense comfort in the October 2003 coronal mass ejection which shut down a lot of military space technology.

Isaiah 54
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
11 ¶ O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 ¶ No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

So, Buffalo-girl, are you going to join the Lakota Nation since you live in it now?

Honey too! It is the anti-biotic wound dressing of choice.

Yes it is, and if you have Propaylos (sp?) it is great too and as a band aid.

I learned a lot from Steven Harris's seminars on the topic of nukes and diseases....

I'm not surprised to hear of the vanity of Salt Lake....and of course not all plastic surgery is frivolous.

Oops... I may have made a wrong impression -- I did NOT mean to suggest that Bro. Wolfrgramm's prediction was prophecy binding on the Church! Only the Prophet has that stewardship.
Each of us needs to pray for guidance regarding his/her stewardship, for which we have a right to revelation. I have felt (as a number of us have) to get prepared by April and to encourage my children/family to do so.
I encourage others to prepare -- just seeing world events unfold rapidly should be enough I suppose to motivate people. We can discuss these events and encourage others to prepare without unduly scaring them.

Aussie -- remember how I quoted the DesNews article about the returned female missionaries who served in the army in Iraq -- and two of them committed suicide after being 'forced' to administer torture. The third wrote a book about her experiences in Iraq, being called a b----, etc. And several forum people complained about my posting this material and opposing torture! I rec'd a hint/rebuke from the forum guys to cease and desist -- I was very disappointed -- but about that time you told me about this forum. Here I am. Great group here (thank you all).
I remember reading about one from Flagstaff, and a journalist was questioning the suicide and info behind it. The members name was Peterson I believe. I wonder what became of the research into that one?
Housing is less expensive here in Big Horn County, WY than in other areas. 4 bedroom house aprox $130K right now. some older houses under $100K 2-3 bedrooms.
Rural sugar beet farming, and a few Bentonite clay factories that pay aprox $15/hr and GP drywall plant. Additionally there is some oilfield work Not much here. But I enjoy it more than UT and my children are enjoying and doing better in the public schools.

Good points Dr. Jones.

I know something of the vanity of Utah. ChelC and I might say we know something of it on a rather personal level, but we won't.
I think that I can even see why it exists, but to say it!

Swiss: "I think that I can even see why it exists, but to say it!"
Understanding the "why" may be of use in avoiding traps and deceptions. I'm interested in your opinions on the "why".

It will take some time to organize my thoughts into something that does my thoughts justice without offending many.

I bought hard red wheat at Lehi roller mills about 2.5 months ago for a little under $10 per 50 pound bag, but I don't think that price is easy to find around here anymore... (Perhaps someone knows where wheat is still cheap like that...)
I understand corn is going up also... we bought popcorn for popping and for grinding.
Wow... my Mom practically lives at the Orem Macey's! I used to live just off 1600 N and Main Street before I got married and moved to Lehi back in 1991. Love their deli. I also currently work about a mile to the west of Macey's on 800 N AND live only about a mile to the southwest of the Roller Mills. It is indeed a small world isn't it? Dr. Jones... we have got to get together some time since it sounds like you're up in my neck of the woods on occasion. I would love to meet you and others here in the forum because IMHO, our beliefs, concerns, knowledge and courage make us all family.
