New guy

Post by marc »

Greetings!

Name's Marc. I'm a personal trainer, fitness nut and a nice guy to be around. I'm easy going, get along with anyone and happy to be here. Spent a lot of time on the lds.net forums, but I like the dialogues and information here much better. Been lurking for a short time, thought I'd finally make my presence known. I've studied the gospel extensively in my life and am keenly aware of our 'awful situation' and hope to be able to learn more in terms of practical applications as I am really drawn to this environment. Hope to make friends.

Nice to meet you Coachmarc. Looking forward to your input.

I do have one question for you. In your intro you said you are aware of "our awful situation" I wonder how you define "our awful situation" or what in your opinion consititues "our awful situation". That phrase seems to be used a lot around here but I'm sure there are as many meanings to the phrase as there are users of the phrase.

Thanks.

I read Jack Monet's book a couple years ago based on Moroni's warning, I believe in Ether. If we as citizens are not active in what's going on in our country, people (politicians, bankers, etc) who would control us will seize power. The US Constitution is constantly under attack and we must be vigilant to protect and preserve it. That's it in a nutshell. Basically we must be like Captain Moroni, valiant against modern day "king men" and secret combinations.

Have seized power, not will seize. ;)

Oops, yup, that's what I meant. But see, this is why I'm here. To focus my microscope, to put all the pieces together, not the obvious image, but the image within hidden in plain sight.

Edit: Oooooh, I'm Captain of 10 now. I feel special! B-)

I just wish I'd found this place years ago. When did this forum open up anyway?
