Shy hello from west Texas

I was really excited to find out about Latter-day Conservatives! I knew there were others out there.... ;->
I have a 13-year-old son and am a Graphic Artist.

Welcome! Graphic Artist huh? Are you on your own or do you work for a specific company. I've always thought that sounded like a fun job.

I do both. I am employed as a graphic artist and I work as a freelancer too. Before this job I was a production coordinator over four artists, but the pressure and stress really got to me.
The creative aspect is very, very rewarding. The late submittals, short deadlines and incomplete information is frustrating, though. LOL But, there's good and bad with everything.
I dream of doing the layout for the Ensign!!!!

I have friends and family that are graphic artists and they are very creative.
I knew there were others out there.... ;->
Its like finding the family you never knew you had.

Welcome from Texas I miss it so much. I moved home to the northwest 8 months ago after 12 years in Dallas. I hope to hear more about what brought you to the forum soon.
