Hi All:

I found this website recently and have just begun reading all the posts. All I can say is that I wish I found you sooner and Thanks for sharing. It's nice to know I am not the only one who thinks like I do, sees things how I see them, and is as worried as I am...

I'm in the Eastern portion of the US right now and miss being around more like minded people. I'm a big Ron Paul supporter from 2008 and will only vote for him in 2012. No 'lessor of two evil votes' will ever come from me again. I started 'waking up' on 9/11 when things just didn't make sense as I watched them unfold on TV and have been actively learning, searching, and praying about things I've read, seen, and found ever since. The more I learn, the worse I realize things are. Now more than ever I think it's important for true Constitutional-supporting members of the church to find each other and work to strengthen one another and prepare for much darker days ahead.

Hopefully I can provide some insight and value to discussions. For those of you who have read 'Atlas Shrugged', let me know if/when you find Galt's Gulch...

Welcome from a NC sant. I too am a recent member of this forum and a convert of 1965.

I find this the BEST LDS forum I'm acquainted with. I feel such kindred spirits here even though we can disagree on matters, even a little heated at times. (grin)

I heard some bad news that the new Atlas Shrugged movie didn't make enough at the box office (limited viewing, almost no advertising, opposing political views to the mindless rabble in media - who would have thunk it!) so they aren't going to continue the movie.

I'm sure the elites are smiling and sleeping soundly to the knowledge that such a movie would of course fail, because no one really feels that way.......little do they know.

Thanks. I hadn't heard that the trilogy would not be completed. I heard part II is complete but part III was contingent on sales.

How sad, but I am not surprised. I don't think most people are ready for it. Ready for the indictment of socialism and the path our leaders (both Republican AND Democrat) have had us on for well over 50 years. Any Rand had amazing insight into how this republic would falter. For this movie to be a huge success would imply that people recognize, at some level, the failings of their leaders. It was doomed (financially) from the start.

People want 'Hope and Change' and they elect the status quo, rather than supporting ideas proposed by Ron Paul and Ayn Rand. The only change people want is the change they can extra from the rich and stick in their own pocket. Amazing...
