Dr. Jones, retired from BYU this year... still working hard!

Hello, all. Aussie told me about this forum, and I'm glad to contribute when I can. Time is short, at several levels.
Very active in 9/11 research still, and co-editing the Journalof911Studies.com . Talks -- latest in San Rafael, Calif, and West Hartford, Connecticut. Next month, Boston Tea Party... talk/panel discussion there.
Preparing, along with most of my children, for that which lies shortly ahead -- do as the prophets have said, also as the patriarch for my family seeking revelation for the family. We have seven children, 4 married.
I don't rely on the media for very many facts -- the weather report is OK. {grin}
The Book of Mormon is my guide, along with all the prophets.
I also use the scientific method to explore the world, including the dust of 9/11...

Just got your PM reply. I was going to send you a link to the intro page. Looks like you found it. Thanks again for your hard work. I am watching your lecture from 11/3/07 on youtube right now. Keep it up!

Welcome!
I've enjoy reading your posts on AVOW and am excited to hear your thoughts here where I think we have a little more leeway in discussing "government".
AVOW definitely has its purpose and I think the members there do great things in sharing knowledge about preparedness, but at the same time I think this site also has a great purpose and I look forward to being able to discuss things with you in this forum as well.

Yes, welcome.
Nice to have someone with scientific background here for input. I've been on the fence about 911 for a long time. All I can commit to is that the government report doesn't add up. For me, 911 is important, but doesn't change the focus points which are that there are indeed secret combinations, government representatives are at best extremely ignorant to their constitutional obligations, repentance is our ONLY hope, and we need to prepare for what is to come.
Did you ever imagine your life would take a turn like it has? Your life will be blessed for working to uncover the truth - I'm sure this has not been easy for you and your family.

Thanks for the welcome, John and 14freedom...
Yes, I like this forum, and I suspect that when I speak out against the 9/11 wars (not against the troops!) I will have better conversation than I got on AVOW... we'll see, I guess... I do find that many of us here share interests.
(Now I kept shortening my "signature" to fit, now I'd like to see about adding some words back... How do I do that?)

I wonder if many folks at the AVOW Forum (which charges a fee to participate, even to read the posts) know about this forum... I like them both, but folks here seem to be well aware overall and I like that!
WELCOME

Are you guys all nutty? Pun intended. Macadamias are best, especially the Mauna Loa honey glazed, but I've never seen them since leaving Hawaii. Of course peanuts are quite versatile, and hazelnuts are just yummy. I feel sorry for walnut, that one makes my tongue hurt, and the skins taste like aspirin.

Wait, how could I leave out pistachio? Those are great, as long as they are not the red ones and you don't get a chewy one... eww.

Pistachio? Did somebody say pistachio? I thought I heard somebody say it. Well I did. I didn't say it was important, I just asked if somebody said it. Well I'm getting to that if you'd only let me type...
Speaking of Pistachios. No joke, this is a real story.
U.S. demands Israel crack down on illegal Iranian pistachio imports
American officials are urging Israel to crack down on Iranian pistachio nut imports which are reaching Israel via Turkey despite a ban on Iranian imports into Israel.

Welcome DrJones.
Good to have an academic perspective among us.
I once thought of pursuing a career of academia but it bothered me that it seemed you only get acceptance for your work if you work within what is accepted. This was in NZ but it might be different in the US.
I studied computer science and am still searching for what it is God wants me to contribute to others with my talents in this field.

Welcome Dr. Jones. I have seen one of your presentations on YouTube as well.
My favorite part, is where you discuss that it might actually help if you ran tests to discover the truth. LOL (Paraphrasing of course)
I loved watching it.
And you definitely proved your point as well.

Dr. Jones
I have lurked these message boards for sometime but didn't realize who you were until a friend gave me a book that contained your DVD the same day I read about you in the Desnews.
You have re-located to the land of my fathers. I migrated north a few years ago, but my people have lived under the Horshoe (a bit west of you) since Mormon settlement times. The family farm still remains and God willing I will return soon.
There is a good flock in your new area. Lots of sheep, a few choice lambs and some wolves in sheeps clothing. The sheep won't take to a new member of the flock, but the lambs will. Good luck finding the lambs and missing the wolves.
A man who draws attention like you would be wise to take precautions to secure his own safety. If trouble comes searching you out down there the local law will be of little help.
God Bless.

Thanks for the heads up, Tribrac... We enjoy Sanpete -- up in the mountains last weekend.
Yes, lots of good people there. Independent-minded, many of them. I like that and generally feel welcomed.
The family farm still remains and God willing I will return soon.
I'll watch for you...

Yes, and several other scientists now also looking hard at this material for further evidences of explosive and incendiary use.
Please shoot me an email at

Dr. Jones, I was reading through an old notebook that I used to take notes of various meetings I attended back in 2005/2006... This must have been shortly after you started speaking out about 9/11 in 2005, and I wrote the following:
"Your job is safe" and the brethren know what's going on. (regarding Steve Jones and BYU)
I can't remember know if I was quoting what you said, or quoting what someone else said that you said...
Did an administrator at BYU say this to you or could you shed some more light on this?

You have to be careful on the fringes. Skepticism, even in the result of honest inquiry, can cause serious disillusionment and lead into cultism and apostasy. I respect you and think you're cool, but be careful. Too many have gotten overzealous, moved to compounds in Missouri, and eventually apostatized completely and fell into grievous perversions.
That said, I appreciate your brave advocation for your research and intellectual honesty even in the face of its cost.

What is really sad and probably one of the difficult things to deal with in the last days, is that in some cases, the disillusionment has real causes. There really are circumstances and the behavior of people that can be very discouraging and disillusioning. Avraham Gileadi, for one, talks about this quite a bit.
