Every single President since Jimmy Carter to now Barack Hussein Obama has said the exact same thing when it comes to Oil. That we need to get of our dependence on foreign oil. Each one has claimed to be the man for the job yet nothing has changed. Newly discovered oil in North Dakota, (Bakken Oil Shale), all the oil in New Mexico, and the vast amounts in Alaska, one has to wonder what is going on and why are we still dependent on foreign oil. This is bizzare to me.

All these discoveries has largely gone unnoticed. We have been lied to once again that there is only a limited amount of oil in Mother Earth. Truth is I am all for getting off our dependence of foreign oil, Especially when we have enough of it here to meet our demands. But truth is I am against Oil in general. I know it's bad, all i got to do is go outside my house every morning to see it. Especially when there is an inversion. I don't want any drilling done in my backyard. I know we have the technology for alternative energy, but someone has been preventing this for a long time. Anyone here ever seen the documentary "Who killed the electric Car"? It really opened up my eyes. I recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it. It will open your eyes. Problem, it has been removed from youtube and most other sites. So good luck finding it. Here is a question; If the United States stopped sending $3 to $4 billion to Arab nations, what effect would that have on those nations, and the subsequent stability of Middle Eastern oil supplies? Also, does any one want this Canadian company to be drilling in our back yard?
