This is getting more unbelievable by the week - Japan's nuclear plants are spewing radiation over to the U.S., we just started another unconstitutional 'police action' in Libya, the 'government' is on the verge of shut-down over the budget, we've got 25% unemployment and under-employment, the dollar is on life support, energy/commodity prices are skyrocketing, 46 out of 50 states are on a path to insolvency, Wall Street, the big banks and 'Fed' continue to plunder the nation's purse in the largest confiscation and transfer of wealth the world has ever seen and this @#!!$#!% is about to embark on yet another vacation at taxpayer expense after he's already set records for golf and vacation days as a sitting president... unbelievable! =)) Is he thumbing his nose at the American public or what, all while living it up while he can before the rug gets pulled out from under the nation? :ymsick:WILLIAMSBURG -- The leader of the free world may be coming to Williamsburg for some rest and relaxation if Congress is able to come to agreement on the budget. President Obama and the First Family are planning to visit the area this weekend in what the White House described Wednesday as a "long-planned family trip to Colonial Williamsburg."
But the trip might get grounded if a government shutdown can't be averted by Republicans and Democrats in Congress.
The announcement that Obama was coming generated excitement from Williamsburg Mayor Clyde Haulman. "I think it's terrific. Williamsburg was voted as the number one family destination," Haulman said. "The first family is coming to the first destination."
