LOL....perhaps we are talking past each other (or its over my head). Mark said -shadow wrote:They don't differ, but that's not what Mark said.Jason wrote:How does "normal workings of the planets" differ from "acts of God"?
Are all "acts of of God" "punishments from God"? Nope! Thus the forces of nature are NOT limited to either punishments from God or something man may have unleashed. It's not an either/or proposition.
Which I interpreted as "The forces of nature are just a normal part of the workings of the planets" and responded with -Mark wrote:The forces of nature are not limited to either punishments from God or something that man may have unleashed because of modern technology. ....punishment is in the eye of the beholder. Despite the fact that most Japanese are atheists.....I imagine quite a few might be leaning towards punishment from God....especially as the arm of the flesh continues to fail in response to the "natural disaster". Meanwhile an armchair pilot sitting in the safety of his home breathing in fresh salty air may lean towards "normal workings of the planet"....while yet another armchair pilot, in locations unnamed, looking at the spike in the electrical usage at the HAARP facility in Alaska may just be wondering if there's a correlation.Jason wrote:Care to provide proof???? Scripture, science.....anything really! I happen to know of a couple of volcanoes unleashed by man....
Truth and reality is we don't know!
That said, I recall a few law suits when "salted" clouds intended to drop snow in Sun Valley ski resorts ended up dumping on southern Idaho in January of 1983 (or 1984 - memory slipping) leading to 3 days of school that month. Some rejoiced while others cursed. Some called it man's screw up, yet others called it punishment from God, and yet others (much younger others) called it manna from Heaven. Its all perspective.....
