Why on earth would our own government want to bring the economy to its knees, while in the process murdering thousands of Americans?

Was the economy brought to its knees with 9/11? Nope. It wasn't 'our government' per se either John - it was likely criminal elements of the CIA, Israel's Mossad and the U.S. military-industrial complex, but we know Cheney was directly involved that morning and that the Bush admin. knew what was going to happen, but did nothing (but did seize an 'opportunity').

That just doesn't add up, it seems a lot more likely that it was motivated by hate.

Please don't tell me you buy into the 'they hated our freedoms' nonsense and so Muslims suspended the laws of physics, common sense and logic on 9/11/01 to show their hatred towards us. =))

Now honestly guys on September 11 did you really watch the towers go down and your first thought was "Oh there's no way that wasn't a controlled demolition!"

Yep - I remember thinking that they'll manage to put out the fires and then re-build the upper floors, but as soon as the south tower 'collapsed', I thought 'what'??? How did that just happen? Then when the north tower went down, that is when it became obvious to me that there was something terribly wrong happening. I did initially buy the story of bin Laden as the culprit though because we had been conditioned by Washington and the mainstream media to point the finger at him for any kind of attack on our country. I woke up in 2004 to the whole fraud after lots of research and believe it or not, I was even suportive of Bush's attack on Afghanistan and Iraq and cheered on what we were doing. Not the case today - we were suckered big time that day and the phony 'war on terror' since is just as big a fraud.

No one here really knows with certainty all the players involved in orchestrating 9-11 and how the whole event was planned and brought to fruition yet many have formed concrete opinions that they present as fact like the Col. does every time he speaks of 9-11. This gives way to discounting any other possibilities and completely shutting down contrary evidence that may differ from someones own subjective theory.

I believe this compiled list is about as close and accurate as we're going to get right now since there has been nothing but a cover-up and no real independent investigation with subopena power...

This list was compiled after many hours of research. I have presented evidence that shows middle eastern terrorist elements have been active in planning terror events in this country and worldwide for many years. Project Bojinka come to mind. This occurred in the early 90's as blowback from US involvement in the middle east.

Mark, I don't think any of us have ever dismissed a true and real foreign terrorist threat to the U.S. - of course there are real terrorists out there in the world and many of them would love to do harm to us, but let me ask you - when was the last time real terrorists attacked the U.S.?

Mark, do you know why we invaded Iraq? Do you know why Iraq inavded Kuwait?

Ever since the United States govt has become active in meddling in the affairs of middle eastern nations like Iraq for Oil and other strategic gains it has created very bitter feelings in circles around the world and this has led to a call for jihad against the great Satan and the little Satan.

Anyone who discounts the sincerity and reality of this call does not understand the facts behind this Islamic revolution. Many of you guys may pooh pooh it but believe me millions of Islamists take it deadly serious. Becks focus lately on the 12th Iman is an example of how seriously this is taken by Islamic followers who seek for bloodshed and carnage worldwide.

That all may be true, but it has no bearing whatsoever RE what happened on 9/11.

I think that there are many questions yet to be answered about 9-11 and OKC and other attacks of American interests here and abroad and it is irresponsible to be assigning potential theories as factual when that has not been established in any concrete fashion.

John, Ron has stated on many occasions that a new, independent investigation is needed to get to the bottom of what really happened on 9/11, but he has stopped short of coming out and saying "it was an inside job", but he's not stupid - he knows what a crock a beans the official story is, but to come out and start challenging the official story would be political suicide and he knows that, especially since there are still so many voters who bought the official story hook, line and sinker and if he runs for president again, he can't afford to challenge the 9/11 event - too controversial and politically risky. Also, John... the discovery of highly explosive nano particles in the dust means that parties with access to highly specialized and technical weapons-grade incendiaries were involved - so who would have been able to load both towers and building 7 with tons of the stuff, beat security in the process and pull off such a masterpiece demolition of 3 WTC's? I can tell you right now... not bin Laden and not al Qaida (the latter of which was created by the CIA in 1989). =))
