"Peaceful Assembly"

Post by dtanner »

Like unto whited sepulchers:

Obama on Feb 23: "The United States also strongly supports the universal rights of the Libyan people. That includes the rights of peaceful assembly, free speech, and the ability of the Libyan people to determine their own destiny. These are human rights. They are not negotiable. They must be respected in every country. And they cannot be denied through violence or suppression." http://m.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/02/23 ... -must-stop" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

March 19th:
While a US led military assault pummeled Libya, and on the anniversary of the Iraq war, 113 anti-war protesters near the White House were arrested. U.S. Park Police spokesman David Schlosser characterized them as “altogether a polite and orderly crowd.”

What would have happened if they had forcibly taken over even a small strategically insignificant town somewhere in the country? or appealed to foreign nations for violence against the US govt? Terrorists all of them?

Unbelievable. What a hypocrit BO is. Don't ever forget what happened to Joe the Plummer during his campaign.
