BTW, what happened to the "The Janadele Experience" thread? I received a Topic Reply notification email 2 hours ago; I click on the link and get a message stating: "You are not authorized to read this forum."

Was the thread deleted, or was I blacklisted as persona non grata?

Many here have no idea how hard it is to moderate, and many sites I've been to have much more strict standards than this one. Heck, if you go to Cougarboard and even talk bout an action taken by a moderator, you'll get banned. This place is about as open and fair as it can be, and the fact that this site lets it's members get away with some of the things said in the Janadelle thread and others is evidence that we really need more moderation not less. A message forum isn't a democracy and honestly the mods shouldn't have to explain any action they take. If it's so crappy here then leave. It's a good thing this isn't my site as I'd ban with reckless abandon, staring with 1984Orwell.

I can no longer check to find out, but I would assume it was just deleted

That's an overly-authoritarian mindset.

It's true that if I didn't like how a forum was moderated, I would leave. I have left several forums. Not for breaking rules. For observing an echo-chamber mentality because moderators are overly restrictive. That's why I post here and visit this forum every day. It espouses and practices classical liberal ideology.

I agree. And let's remember that the Janadele thread was started by a moderator!
