He was national security advisor in the Reagan administration and a member of the Church. I am uncertain of his association with CFR.

If he supports the NWO somebody should ask him.

Scowcroft is a member of the LDS Church; he belongs to the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations); and he worked for Kissinger. He's been part of several different Republican administrations, serving in different capacities (National Security Advisor, etc.). He accepted an award from the Queen of England; wrote a book with the first Pres. Bush; is 86 years old.

Scowcroft spoke at BYU on September 29, 2009, at the Hinckley Center Assembly Hall, but I don't know that Pres. Hinckley gave him any kind of award.

Scowcroft became the ninth inductee into the University of Utah Hinckley Institute of Politics political hall of fame; and George H. W. Bush presented Scowcroft with the Medal of Freedom Award in 1991 - but again, Pres. Hinckley, to my knowledge, never gave Scowcroft an award.

It is standard practice for universities to award the dignitary who gives the keynote address an award...an honorary doctorate to those who have achieved highest levels in their fields...it is not usually an endorsement of the speaker's positions - just a gracious honor, but fancier than giving him a plaque.
