The destruction is so complete that it's hard to fathom. Those poor people.

Sobering. Very sobering.

This is a reminder of how quickly God's judgments (not saying God is punishing the Japenese at all) can change EVERYTHING. He said He would send missionaries throughout the world to preach his sermons and when that was ineffective He would send sermons of tempest, earthquakes... Is this a "sermon"? I think so. What did we learn or what will we change because He has just forcefully preached to us?
