Anything I can help with please let me know. ne thing I will say -- this is the last year for food storage. Thank you for your welcome. I found this site while searching for LDS forums. In regards to food storage -- multiple factors are work. There are world wide crop failures. People are rioting for food now in other nations. Food prices are hyperinflating now. Our government cannot even supply it's own sources for military supplies. When the food riots started all warehouse will locked up under armed military police with orders to shoot. There will be door to door confiscation of food in some areas.

The coming of Jeremiah's Destroyer is causing world wide bizarre weather changes and massive crop failures. By this time next year crustal instablities will be so great no food can be grown. The world will be darkness anyway. The passage of the Destroyer will cause earthquakes beyond imagination, massive volcanic eruptions, mile high tsunamis, and winds of hundreds of miles per hour. During that time there will be a complete polar realignment of Earth -- literally it will flip over and the continents will realign.

All of this is of course my opinion but I have been involved in federal planning and I know very well what they have up their selves. I am expecting martial law by summer or fall (at the latest). After that the government will seize everything it can.

....along the lines of my thinking as well....though I tend to think martial law will never be fully implemented (last thread of the Constitution that President Benson thought would never be broken - also Book of Mormon prophesy of kings never being established on this land prior to Christ's visit) prior to collapse of the country into chaos paving the way for the establishment of Zion by the end of December.

Welcome aboard....look forward to more of your insights!

Glad to have you Randy. I spent all day today at a wonderful economic summit listening to Peter Schiff, Jason Chavettz, and others. Went from 9:00 a.m. to about 6:00 p.m. Tons of good information and advice.

Peter said that the dollar is going to fail in 2011 or 2012. He says there is a very slim chance it could last until 2013. He psent about 90 minutes laying out his case. He said we are in the third and final bubble, and this bubble is a government bubble, and when it breaks there will be no one to do the bail out. He says our economy there are only three options.

1. Default
2. Continue to borrow. (He says this is where the time frame is shaky, because it is a question of when no one will lend to us. He says the writing is already on the wall and getting much more lent to us is becoming more and more difficult because confidence in getting repaid is dropping.
3. Print our way out (to be able to continue to pay the service on our debt.

Even Jason spoke with a lot of candor and was not giving a pep speech - he was laying out the seriousness of our economic situation and that we are not in recovery, and rolling the budget back to 2008 levels is a joke in comparison of what has to be done.

It encouraged me to make another food storage investment. The morning speakers in particular laid out that we are going to have some rough times not seen in this country since the Civil War.

Welcome Randy. I have only been here about a month but I enjoy hearing opinions about topics that the general public believes is all crazy. I certainly hope that you Mummy and Original Intent are all wrong. But my wife and I are building up a small food storage, its kind of slow with us still being in school but its coming along. If things do turn out to be as bad as you are expecting we will have to be relying on a significant amount of divine providence. But then again I suppose we will all need to be doing that regardless. :)

Yes, I have been feeling a great need to get more food storage recently. I already have a years supply for my immediate family, but really feel the need to get more for other family members around me who may not be fully prepared....
