Ron Paul 2012 Money BOMB!!!

Quoting from the email I just received Ron Paul and Liberty PAC:
A great man was born 279 years ago.

George Washington was a freedom fighter, a leader, and one of our greatest Presidents. But, much of General Washington's greatness was marked not by what he did, but by what he chose not to do.

He could have been a King.

Instead, he stood for Liberty and stepped aside after eight years, allowing our young Republic to grow into the greatest nation in Human history...

It is no secret that I [Ron Paul] am weighing my personal political options for 2012, and that I am relying on Liberty PAC to fund my efforts while I make important decisions.

Monday, February 21st, is Presidents' Day, which celebrates George Washington's birthday, and we hope to make it one to remember.

On Monday, Liberty PAC will host its first-ever Money Bomb. Please mark it on your calendar and consider contributing. If we all come together and pitch in, we can take our country back from the statists that are stealing our Liberty and shredding our Constitution.

The next few months will be critical to ensuring a successful political operation for the 2012 cycle. I hope you will join me by making this Presidents' Day, February 21st, truly special.
I encourage everyone to spread this news far and wide and to prayerfully consider how much you can donate (on GW's birthday for the Money Bomb) to this campaign to help save the Constitution!

The controlled media continues to belittle Ron Paul as if he has no chance in 2012. Let's show them that he has real backing!!!

Nope! Thought there was a chance in 2008 and put money behind him.....but now everything extra (and not so extra) goes to debt and preparedness!!!

Well, I certainly don't think the Lord would have us throw up our hands and surrender. We should always seek to support good men who stand up for truth.

No, but that is not the proper role of the President.

However, Ron Paul’s fully integrated honesty and wide scope accounting, combined with qualities of discipline, thought, and control, yield the three non-manipulative self-imposed character virtues of courage, temperance, and justice plus the intellectual virtue of prudence, which means practical wisdom yielding reliable judgments, makes him the ideal candidate for the job.

Rational politics and objective philosophies can markedly improve the current situation but liberty grows from the bottom up, not the top down, and frankly, I’m concerned there may not even be another presidential election given the loosing of consciousness as is now current, assuming that is what you mean by “ripe.”

Fully ripe? I wasn't aware that the prophets had ceased teaching or that the Spirit has ceased striving with the people of the USA. Those were two indicators in the book of mormon that people were fully ripe.

To be fair, GB does give a "balanced" interview with Ron Paul and even looks like he agrees with ALL his views. But why the betrayal when all is said and done?

Rincon wrote:Perhaps not fully ripe, but 50 million abortions since Roe V. Wade is pretty ripe. No President is going to turn that trend around. I do agree we should not give up just because the dim light at the end of the tunnel can no longer be seen.
The issue of abortion would be a non issue in a righteous society, moreover, an issue between the individual and God where it properly belongs, not one of pseudo politics and lawlessness as is now current.

Ron Paul’s position on the issue, as a physician, is that life begins at conception. It is disturbing to me, however, when political parties parade the issue as a definitive platform or qualification on which candidates run their political campaigns. While the reality poorly reflects the morality of present day society, I view it as deleterious in the democratic process in that it detracts from core issues that need to be addressed if a republican form of government is to be restored. The task and responsibility to make conscious life happily creative and forever imperishable, nevertheless, falls upon the conscious individual to harness his or her nature in a Constitutional Republic governed by natural laws that protect individual life and property rights.

But to clarify my position, when I think of a definition of ripe, I picture our apostasy from constitutional principles and the proper role of government. That combined with the loosing of consciousness so prevalent in present day society.

In my view, two core issues that need to be addressed are both the monetary system, and the qualification by elected officials to uphold and defend the Constitution(s); the illegal and unconstitutional operation of the Federal Reserve as a mechanism of control in particular. On these issues, Ron Paul is the ideal messenger, and worthy of support. But the key that opens the door is found in the Declaration of Independence, to wit:

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”

However, short of valid elections through which honest and wise men are placed in authority above us, bound by oath or affirmation to uphold and defend the Constitution, and in combination with a return to the sound money of the Constitution, our doom seems fixed as the dark clouds of martial law loom on the horizon as the great colossus crumbles to pieces and tumbles to the ground.

Not that I believe the tide can’t be turned, but I have my doubts Ron Paul will fill the office of President of the government that now exists.
Nevertheless, I believe the man is worthy of our continued support as the groundswell of support by the People gains momentum as it works toward that which I am sure those of us who are awake to our awful situation would prefer to experience.

For now, I am advising everyone to prepare for a complete collapse of the fiat monetary system.
