I occasionally note mention of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on this forum. The reports and discussions of that incident strike me as being about as truthful and our FedGov story about 911 and the OKC bombing.

3 years after the attack on the USS Liberty by Israeli air and naval forces I was living and working in Israel for several months. I was told by probably the best source I could have had that during the 1967 war (6 Day War) the USS Liberty was monitoring and recording Israeli communications and sending the intel back to somewhere in the US, and then it was being passed on to the Soviets, and from them to the Syrians. The Israelis knew that. Fearing that the Syrians would be alerted to details of the planned Israeli attack on the Golan Heights, they first asked the Liberty to cease monitoring their communications. When that failed, they attacked the ship.

Bamford had pretty good detail in "Body of Secrets"...and attributed the attack to USS Liberty (NSA spy boat) witnessing the Israelis massacring several hundred Palestinians...

I wasn't very familiar with this topic but I watched this video on youtube. It might be helpful to anyone who doesn't know about what happened there and it has a lot of interviews with crew members. The link is for part one of seven.

It was really interesting to me that it was kind of a miracle that they were able to get their SOS out. It was intended that there be no survivors. So Americans turn on the news and find out that one of our ships was attacked unprovoked in international waters and who do we blame? Was this suppose to be used as a pretext for bringing us into the war on the side of Israel?
Something doesn't add up and it makes me think of Ether 8:24 "... wo be unto it(the secret combination) because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up."
