Long ago Bill Buckley drummed the anti-Semites out of the conservative movement, and the movement thrived as a result. But the Jew-haters have returned. For years the Texas crackpot, Ron Paul, has been attacking America and Israel as imperialist powers — the Great Satan and the Little Satan, and calling for America’s retreat from the battle against our totalitarian enemies. At the recent CPAC conference Paul’s Jew-hating storm-troopers swarmed the Freedom Center’s table to vent their spleen against Israel as a Nazi state. Now Paul is making a priority of withdrawing aid for Israel — the only democracy in the Middle East and the only reliable ally of the United States. Here is an alert from Gary Bauer about the amendment Ron Paul is proposing which may be voted on today.

In light of Fox new's embarrassing "mistake" yesterday I definitely see an uptick in moves against Ron Paul. Also, I joined Free Republic the other day and they revoked my posting rights after two posts! I posted something about Ron Paul. I guess the neocon Free Republic forum didn't like that. There has definitely been an en mass movement by the neocons to scare conservatives away from Ron Paul before the election! The surprising thing is what they are doing is so obvious and unsophisticated. Do you really think they are fooling anyone?

The sad thing is that it is so easy to fool sleeping or half-awake people.

I'm not saying that in arrogance. Been there, done that.

I expect it to be very blatant and I thing we will see violence against anyone calling for a shrinking in state power - We have been coddled and our chains have rested lightly upon us, but the bottom line is we are Egypt, our masters have just enslaved us while we were partying during the financial good times - but when things get ugly we will see that they are every bit the authoritarians that Mubarak and his ilk are. The question is going to be, is there still enough backbone in America to say "NO!" ? I believe there is and I believe it will be required soon.

Interesting question in light of politicians running from the state rather than face the issues at hand.....LOL!

....of course I probably shouldn't jest as Joseph Smith ran away a few times! The way the media is skewing the whole thing....maybe that is the best option!

Wow, they're getting desperate to find any way they can to smear Ron - pathetic. :ymblushing: X( Ron is against giving aid to ANY nation with taxpayer money because it is unconstitutional, plain and simple, but since he wants aid for Israel withdrawn in order to help reign in spending and stop our imperial marching, of course they are going to use that to say he's anti-Semitic and a 'crackpot' for wanting to downsize our country when we are at 'war', even though the 'war on terror' is as phony as a $4 bill! ( =))

I got a laugh out of a state department memo this morning bragging they had gunned down a "terrorist" in Afghanistan this morning....

Thanks for mentioning the suspicious background of David Horowitz. I had not mentioned that in my original post, but I do know that he has got to be some sort of operative. He is always spreading anti islamic sentiment. He is a big pro-war neocon. What is interesting is that I once heard Glenn Beck say that the David Horowitz site is a website you can trust. That really makes me wonder whether I can trust Glenn Beck! Of course, I have had my concerns about Glenn Beck for years now.
