A newspaper in that southern Illinois community reports in a Page 1 story that the local street commissioner, George Culley, had a dream from God in which the Lord revealed the location of the Ark of the Covenant-as in where the original tablet of the 10 Commandments might be found. Sounds like a heavy burden (what with regular elective duties and all) for a guy to carry around. But Culley is hopeful that all will be well.

Gave us his pamphlet "Location of the Ark of the Covenant by the Prophet George Culley" in return for the BOM we gave him. At the end of the discussion he gave the most blasphemous prayer I have experienced in my lifetime (yelling at full capacity with a good number of repetitions). Ended up facing him in court....long dark story. I was a greenie...my first area!
