Awake and alert

Hello from Southeastern Idaho. After following this forum for more than a year (I hate the word "lurking" since it has such a negative connotation) I have decided to introduce myself and thank so many of you for helping to educate me and my family. As an awake and alert mom to a houseful of children--all ages--I am finding it interesting to balance teaching my children truth about the powers that be with keeping them feeling safe and protected. It's a fine line we parents walk, anyway, but I find that when I open up and talk with my kids about what I have learned and what I believe, they almost always listen. Of course, I talk differently to my 22 year old than to my 11 year old, but hopefully they are all learning and so their "awakening" won't be as mind-altering as mine has sometimes been. I have lived here for 20 years, having grown up on the West Coast. I love family history work and try my best to ascertain truth in whatever I encounter. Hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forum in the future and encourage others as many of you have encouraged me.
