One World Religion

Post by English Saint »

What are your thoughts on the Pope's visit to Britain. He met with the leader of the Anglican church, as well as many others. Do you think they are going to formally announce that Britain is returning to the Roman church after almost 500 years?

I'm wondering what you make of this group http://www.scottishinterfaithcouncil.org/20.html

I noticed that our ward calendar has a Interfaith event listed. I was concerned about this. I know the church is trying to become more mainstream and open up to the public, but my personal feeling is that this is a bad idea.

Just having a quick look at their website, I became suspicious.

SIFC are involved in helping to shape and develop religious equality throughout Scotland. In order to do this, we work closely with the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and the Scottish Government's Equality Unit. http://www.scottishinterfaithcouncil.org/15.html

The UN Convention on Human Rights supposedly gives women the right to an abortion!

Talking of the United Nations, this is something else that this evil organisation has been promoting.
“(NEW YORK – C-FAM) The World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides hosted a no-adults-welcome panel at the United Nations this week where Planned Parenthood was allowed to distribute a brochure entitled “Healthy, Happy and Hot.” The event was part of the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) which concludes this week.” “Just have fun, explore and be yourself!”

I then looked deeper into the Fife Interfaith website, and found this.

“Participants attended workshops which highlighted different aspects of environmental issues. Adrian Shaw, Church of Scotland Climate Change Officer, shared the facts about Climate Change and discussed with participants the ways in which their congregations could become more environmentally friendly, using the model of Eco-Congregations created by the Church of Scotland. Dr Ross Loveridge, senior policy advisor on Climate Change for the Scottish Government, looked at the ways in which our lifestyles can impact the planet and shared ways in which participants could reduce their ‘carbon footprint’. Zeshan Akhter looked at how our interaction with nature has a positive effect on our emotional and spiritual wellbeing and actions that participants could take to sustain biodiversity in Scotland. Mike and Enid Trevett looked at ways of putting the values and principles of the Earth Charter into action in the local community using Green Mapping techniques. At the end of the afternoon, Frank Bownes from the Fife Inter Faith Group gave a vote of thanks. Participants left the day inspired to make a difference in their communities.” Fife Inter Faith Group: "Sustaining Diversity”.

* Frank is from our church.

Maurice Strong was the Secretary General of the United Nations Earth Summit in Rio in 1992. This is what he said: “The real goal of the Earth Charter is that it will in fact become like the Ten Commandments.”

Former soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev became part of the Earth Charter Commission in 1997.

On the front of the Interfaith website they boast of indoctrinating primary school children with their Gaia worship.

“For Scottish Inter Faith Week in November 2007 we had a combined theme of young people and the environment which involved Fife Primary Schools...” http://www.scottishinterfaithcouncil.org/20.html

I'm personally leery of any interfaith organization. How many people do you know that say one day: "Hey, let's start and interfaith group". Usually, if you look at the founders of such groups and where they get their money, it leads right back to 'globalist' instigators and organizations that are actually using the group to further one of their agendas. In the case you mention, it is the 'environmental/Gaia ploy, which of course is pretext to ramping up Global control.

They also use these groups to push what they define as their commonalities, usually things so banal, no one has any objections to them. This is also called 'dialoguing to consensus', which is a reverse form of Hegelian dialectic. Instead of creating conflict to create change, you create consensus to create change. But the change you are looking for is what you all agree on, which has the powerful effect of making what you DON'T agree on, tabu.

In the case of getting people from several different religions together to discuss what they have in common, once that agreement is reached, it tends to make the their doctrinal differences look outre, or ridiculous or not acceptable to 'normal people'. The overall effect is to make the religionist feel a certain amount of shame regarding the beliefs peculiar to his sect. The net effect is to move the people in these religions and eventually these religions themselves in the direction of a watered-down uber-religion, accepted world-wide.

I mean everyone can accept ecological balance, bio-diversity and environmental common-sense. Once this becomes almost a religious tenant, its a short step to deifying the earth.
