With these record low highs that Utah has been dealing with, maybe the earths axis did tilt, but in the opposite direction as has been reported.

What was interesting for the Saturday morning session of conference, was that it warned that the broadcast could be interrupted for up to ten minutes due to the satellite's alignment with the sun. I had never seen that warning before... It made me think of this thread right then and there LOL

I haven't read all the replies so Idk if this thread has gotten of track, but is interesting that you mention this a few months ago I was watching the history channel and they were doing a show on the Mayan's belief of the end of the world on dec 21, 2012 well they also interview several scientist that have proved that on or around dec 21, 2012 the earth, moon, sun and the rest of the planets will align with the center of the milk way, now they also believe that in the center of the milky way there is a giant black hole and according to this scientist when this happens it will cause for the axis to shift as well as for the poles to switch so that they would be on the equator line.

They said that depending on how fast this happens that will determine how many crazy weather changes we will see as well as earth quakes, volcano eruptions and tsunamis. who knows maybe the mayans saw this coming and that's why they deemed that date as the end of the world, and the beginning of a new one.
