Alternative (and often outlawed) Cancer Therapies that work!

Dr. Allan Spreen, M.D., has a new book out,
"Tomorrow's Cancer Cures Today," pub'd by the Health Sciences Institute (HSI). I'm enjoying this book and Dr. Spreen's care in providing references to medical studies. Quite fascinating -- but you be the judge.

Cancer strikes many of us close to home. Several in my close family (none of my children as yet, happily) -- have had serious cancer. My mother was not benefitted by chemo which she started -- the doctors said the pancreatic cancer was so far advanced... She passed about 4 months after her diagnosis.

I am interested in alternative therapies that have scientific bases and evidentiary support. That's what Dr. Spreen's book is all about. He details 25 such therapies. I will review some of these as time permits, hoping these may be of benefit, and of course I invite others to chime in.

p 39 -- a protocol involving cesium chloride and vitamin C, 1 gram of each with breakfast, dinner and with bread before bed, with potassium supplementation. The American Cancer Society has concluded, "studies conducted in several experimental tumor models in the 1980's found that the use of cesium chloride led to less tumor growth and fewer deaths of certain tumor bearing mice such as those with sarcoma or breast cancer." (ref. 5, p. 27)
How does it work? "when cesium chloride is taken up by cancer cells, it raises the pH of cells [more alkaline] and kills them." " Cesium chloride selectively targets cancer cells" -- explanation on p. 36

I had stage3 Colon Cancer and had a few feet of my colon cut out 2.5 years ago and I am doing good as of today. They didn't get me to fall for the chemo poison, I basically changed my diet from fast food to lots of fruit and vegetables, plus selenium and Jason Winters herbal formula...and now I have added vit D3 which is especially good for colon health.

A lot of the texts I've read refer to acid/alkaline states in the body, and that high alkaline diets, consuming large amounts of green natural organic foods, especially in the form of green drinks, has in many cases resulted in complete rapid recovery from many types of cancers. apparently its the highly acidic modern lifestyles that cause a lot of illness?

Right -- raising the pH to more alkaline in the body is discussed in several chapters, also the change in diet to lots of vegetables which also have that effect. I think high-pH water is a great idea!

This brings us to Dr. Simoncini, chapter 11 p. 105. This Italian Dr. found an association of cancer with fungus which supports it, apparently always. He administers sodium bicarbonate, usually intravenously but orally also works. Raising the pH KILLS THE FUNGUS which supports cancer tumors.
Another Dr. (Karthaus) cured leukemia in three children by administering a 'megadose of a triple anti-fungal drug cocktail." p. 67, published medical study.

I have a question about this. I was thinking about what in our diet is acidic and the main culprit that I can see is carbonated drinks. I would be interested to see if there is any info about cancer rates before the popularity of fizzy drinks.

My question, though, has to do with Mexican, Thai, Korean, etc. foods that are spicy, especially that use a lot of peppers. Are cancer rates higher in these countries? Do they balance their high levels of acidic foods with some very alkaline foods?

I am very interested in learning ways to keep our bodies in balance, and the dreaded C word is a particular concern of mine, thanks for this thread!

Have any of you ever read The China Study? I have. It basically argues that the high amounts of animal protein we consume is what allows cancer to live. The problem I have with this is it could be agenda driven. Also, the critics of the book could be funded by the dairy industry etc... Does anyone have an opinion? I just think it's better to eat less meat and dairy anyway, but as far as this study goes, I don't know.

I have studied it also, and I think it establishes some good points (like the one you summarized).
Animal protein should be used "sparingly" it says, based on solid data -- and doesn't that sound familiar? (D&C 89)
