Philly Cyclists Peel Off to Promote Cleaner Air

PHILADELPHIA -- Hundreds of naked and partially nude cyclists have pedaled their way through Philadelphia to promote bicycling awareness and cleaner air.

Some of the buff bikers wore body paint, some were in bathing suits and some were completely naked.

This was the second year for the Philly Naked Bike Ride. Similar rides have taken place in more than 70 cities worldwide since 2004.

The bicyclists pedaled several miles through the city on Sunday evening.

These bikers are just exhibitionists at heart. I think they enjoy the excuse to be outrageous. How that promotes clean air is beyond me! I get the bicycles but the nudity?

I remember seeing some photos of "mature" women protesting something in Berkeley, California. They were all topless. Man, all of those chubby old women with their "pendulosity" made me want to scratch out my eyes! I don't look that good au naturel, but I have the common sense to keep my clothes on.

It sounds like it is just an excuse for them to stick their thumbs in the eyes of people with decent morals.

I agree it's lewd people looking for an excuse. My commentary was on the media, Fox in particular, who is supposed to be the conservative voice, which are trying to portray this in a possitive light. This is what really sickens me.
