Grew up in the church. Father was a construction supervisor for the church in the days of donated labor from the members. Lived in IN, OH, KY, and NC, the back to TX. Over 6 year active duty in the Army. Married almost 43 years, 3 children with oldest deceased, 5 grandchildren with a couple on the way, son on active duty in the Army. Held about every ward calling except Bishop. Also on the High Council twice. Was ordained a Seventy in the days of Stake Seventies Quorums. In other words, I'm an old rascal. Currently HP Group Leader for the 2nd time. Maybe I'll get it right this time.
Love the outdoors. Do some waterfowl hunting and a little fishing. Love me a good retriever.

Welcome to the forum olepal, you old rascal. What is your opinion ? Are the Texans Awake to the awful situation? Anybody doing anything about it? Several years ago I visited Houston . Went to the George Brown Convention center for Quilt market. I remember a lot of,, what seemed like to me,, rich Lady's there. I never could figure out why they made so many quilts in Houston area. Does not ever get cold there.
