I can't answer for Mullenite's point.

I spoze it's a cultural thang for even my American wife after 21 years still does not 'get' some of my North Eastern Canada ways of communication that my fellows from there understand.

What kind of 'cats' were inside the Trojan horse gift to Spartans?

My point could be is that I know that inside the Colored Cross Wooden Shaped Prophetic gift to the left there lies a Big Lion Judah and His name is Jesus who scores high on obedience, prayer and work.

Okay, now that I understand.

Even the books of Isaiah and Revelation were written so that those whom understood the manner of the Jews would understand with the Spirit of the Lord guiding them.

You just might have to speak after the manner of Americans for us to understand you. ;)

We don't use a lot of cat symbolism. Dove symbolism is used. Eagle symbolism. Moon and stars. The symbolism of the wheat and field are common as well. But no cats. I think you are the first to use cats as symbols of things of the Spirit.

Now that I think about it, cats are symbolic here for mischief and dangerous curiosity (as in curiosity killed the cat). Lion represents the tribe of Judah in some circles, but if you had said Lamb instead of Lion, everyone would have understood. Instead, you said Sheepman... to us the distinction between sheep and the Lamb could give rise to confusion that you were talking about the followers of Christ rather than the Shepard Himself.

Here we have a term called "sheepeople" or people that don't think for themselves nor seek guidance from the Lord. "Sheepman" looks similar in meaning as "sheepeople"... so we kind of got confused.

In order for the metaphor to be understood, there must needs be a shared culture in which the metaphor is applied.

For instance, in both Revelations and Ezekial, a "reed" is used t measure, which is symbolic of one having been given the authority to judge or "measure" people. And the further symbol of what part of the city or the temple is being measured, indicates the people that are being judged.

There is a shared symbolism or metaphor which is understood by the jewish community.
But do consider / study meditate around on the painting for it comes from Heaven.
It is hard to understand the metaphorical context you are using for the word "painting." To us it could have meant anything from perspective to time in one's life to overall picture to any number of things. It was hard to figure out that you meant your avatar.

Hey, In the pre-comment posting typing section those two smileys look like two cloud watchers rocketing up from some planet at high velocity.

Thanks C for the kind tone :-)

I don't get American jokes...they go right over my head. Vise versa. I supose I'm sorta British in that sense.

As in the Cat family, with Lion at the top of the 'totem pyramid' so to speak. Did not the 'First' Americans mumbled maliciously with massive metaphorical mixings? (Native America)

The official name of the avatar is called 'Lion and The Lamb' I used 'sheepman' on the fly to stir up thinkers.

Yeah your right. me and m 'ADHD' shortcomings.

Be mindful for the ones on 'staff' weild the 'rod' after the 'measurous' outcome

Meaning is in the eye of the painting beholder. The painting actually resulted during a time of corporate worship where the painter while dancing uncontrollably/wildly like a Native America (actually half Sioux/half White) guided by 'Great Wind' or 'Wild Good' (Refer to Clairvauxmanifesto.com book open chapters)
