AZ Sheriff: Our own federal government has become the enemy

(CNSNews.com) – Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu is hopping mad at the federal government.

Babeu told CNSNews.com that rather than help law enforcement in Arizona stop the hundreds of thousands of people who come into the United States illegally, the federal government is targeting the state and its law enforcement personnel.

“What’s very troubling is the fact that at a time when we in law enforcement and our state need help from the federal government, instead of sending help they put up billboard-size signs warning our citizens to stay out of the desert in my county because of dangerous drug and human smuggling and weapons and bandits and all these other things and then, behind that, they drag us into court with the ACLU,” Babeu said.

The sheriff was referring to the law suits filed by the American Civil Liberties Union and the U.S. Department of Justice challenging the state’s new immigration law.

“So who has partnered with the ACLU?” Babeu said in a telephone interview with CNSNews.com. “It’s the president and (Attorney General) Eric Holder himself. And that’s simply outrageous.”

“Our own government has become our enemy and is taking us to court at a time when we need help,” Babeu said.

I laugh at anyone who thinks things would be much different and/or better right now in the U.S. had McCain been elected. The president doesn't call the shots anymore and hasn't for a long time. The 'Fed' has more power than the executive, judicial or legislative bodies, as do select mega corporations, the miltary-industrial complex and special interest groups. Didn't McCain actually state once that the 'war on terror' would last at least 100 years? Yep... much different with a republican in there.

It may be worth posting the video again w/Arizona Governor Jan Brewer standing in front of the signs mentioned and calling Obama out; this was an outstanding performance on her part:

(sarcasm). See 3 Ne 7. It is interesting to note that the Nephite people in only about 15 years went from very righteous to complete decay. I wonder where we are in relation to them?

Jan Brewer in that video is speaking to the people that will be re electing her. The message is meaningless, what matters to Jan is keeping her power. To me most times the message is just a smoke screen for a more insidious agenda. She uses fear to move her agenda along and in this case to stay in power; kind of reminds me of Rahm Emanuel's famous words "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before." SB1070 expanded police powers, it was written by an ex cop for cops. The government is ever increasing in power and playing on the fears of the people to expand that power.

Perhaps I would be open to Jan Brewer's message if my taxes were then less than what I give back to God in tithing. Trust me my taxes are many times higher than that. She helped my taxes to be higher. She has only proven to me that she has a commitment to the 2nd plank of The Communist Manifesto.

Perhaps I will be open to Jan Brewer's message when this nation loves God more than it does evil and had respect for moral agency. I look around and fear for my saftey and the saftey of my family. I fear my nation more than I do those who live here illegally.

Perhaps I will be open to Jan Brewer's message if it came from a person I could have trust in. Jan while Secretary of State in 2006 ignored the law and would not allow a hand count of votes. Jan thinks "It all comes down to faith and trust in your election officers." She is not a person I can place my trust in.

Arizona has many problems, for example the 10th plank of The Communist Manifesto was written straight into the Arizona Constitution. Jan Brewer is in favor of government run education. It makes it easier to condition people to tyranny when you start when they are young. It sucks that Arizona's founding father's were commie pigs and made sure those principles were placed in the state constitution. People are so condition to look to government to solve life issues and Jan is all to happy too assist and has made a career of working in government.

Anyways enough ranting from me; I don't hate the playa, I hate the game.
