We just got notified in my ward of this situation that happened to a certain sister:

On Sunday I left my purse unattended while taking my Sunday School class outside to look at and talk about the temple. While we were gone, some time between 2:48 and the end of that block, someone opened my wallet and took 175 dollars.

Wow. Brings a whole new meaning to why they have locks on the lockers in the temple, now doesn't it?

I've told my kids and they have learned the hard way that anything they leave unattended will probably come up missing. Sad.
