What this bio-ethicist says is absolutely correct -- reproduction will become far more scientific in the future. I also believe we will see a re-birth of eugenic thinking, hopefully close to the eugenic policies of our early Church leaders, but we will see people try to take reproduction out of the rhelm of mere chance:

Now the interesting thing is, this is something that may help usher polygamy back in. I was watching a documentary about a group of gay men and lesbians who were getting married in New Hampshire. One lesbian woman made the point that in 20 years people will no longer see gay marriages as something wrong. I think she is right. Much of this is due to our divorcing marriage and reproduction. Of course, many lesbians and career women are opting for sperm donation -- and getting the donors from the healthiest and most intelligent stock (most women do want kids). Not only is this revolutionizing births, but how can it avoid bringing in a "live and let live" attitude towards polygamy? There are many, many women who would opt for polygamy over single motherhood for a variety of reasons and so given time society will lead the way. Group marriage (which polygamy is a type) will be seen as advantagious to all involved and at this point I believe the Church will allow it.

your signature is a Satanic quote you know. I find your ignorance astonishing. Also Henry Kissinger is part of the Elite and NWO group. He is not your friend. Why is his statement bad you may ask? It is the basic argument that you are god. You decide what is right and wrong. You determine what is morally acceptable and what is not. This concept is in the Karl Marx communist manifesto. There is no sin, there is no God so man is an agent unto himself. Sound familair? It is in the BOM and this comes straight from the king of lairs. Unfortunately, GOD is the one that has given us what right and wrong. I don't want to offend you but maybe you did not realize that. I can go on if you still don't get it.

My cylon friend, I took the quote because I liked it. Too many people try to be something that society says they should be -- and that is what the basis of our Edward Bernay's inspired consumeristic society is all about. It is not satanic any more than saying that you are on thin ice for using a name of a race that, based on the original movie, destroyed its makers and then went after humans after turning to a dark satanic "deliverer."7cylon7 wrote:your signature is a Satanic quote you know. So while I am not sure of all of what is in Endgames http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-CrNlilZho the irony is that if you go by the new Battlestar series in the end it appears possible for the cylons to be able to breed with humans (and that all humans are, according to the last episode, descended from synthetic and human interbreeding). In a wierd way, if Jones is right perhaps the idea he presents of people someday being a mix of human and robotic parts could be made more pallitable by TV programs using it as part of their plots in a positive manner. What say the cylons to that?

Imitating creation with cybernetics, without the blessing of God, is satanic.
It is no fun being "borged" to death.

Agreed. I have no problem with letting infertile couples shop for donors based on the health and intelligence of those donors. I also have no problem with encouraging people with desirable traits to have bigger families and those who are criminals or drug abusers to abstain from perpetuating themselves, but perhaps Mr. Jones is onto something. Just a generation ago, we did not have IVF or "test tube babies." People could not freeze embryos and we could not manipulate the genes of reproductive cells to get rid of health problems. All of this would have been science fiction. So who is to say that in 30 years that two men will not be able to have a baby together through manipulation of stem cells? And since an artificial bacteria was created recently who is to say we could not create synthetic genes or even synthetic reproductive cells in 30 years time? One wonders, was this what brought down society in Noah's day?
