Thank you for that OI. I appreciate the fairness in looking at Beck as a developing work in progress rather than the same old same old demonizing mindset that so often occurs with those here whose minds are completely closed on the subject. Beck is reading the founders and that has a way of opening ones mind up to correct principles that have more often than not been replaced or tweeked by the "philosophies of men mingled with scripture" so to speak. I will cut any man some slack for past errors in judgement if they make adjustments based on true principles learned and espoused by our founding fathers and others who were so inspired to lay the foundations of this constitutional republic. That goes for Beck or any other man or women who begins to awaken to these true principles.

Same here. And that holds for Brother Mitt as well - BobH and I got into it over my lack of forgiveness for Bro. Romney. If I saw the same development in him as I ahve seen in Glenn in the last couple of years. I could support him. But I appreciate the thanks. It seems like you and I have been on opposing viewpoints on a few things, and I am happy that we are finding some common ground.

Mark, don't you understand, though, that he can still be a "work in progress' without going out of his way to do his own demonizing of people looking for the truth of 9/11?

This is where I have a real problem with the man. By these kinds of broad-brush, widely disseminated accusations he defines himself as a demonizer. He also accepts the same mantle when he paints good Conservative political candidates with this demon brush that he himself has created.

You seem to be a bit mixed up on who the perpetrator is here, Mark. Beck, with his access to perhaps millions of people can do a lot more damage, real and potential, to innocent people with his accusations than a few posters on an obscure blog called LDS Freedom Forum who point out this odd, and I think, dishonest behavior of the man.

Others are welcome to have him help wake them up. That's nice and can bare good fruit.

But I won't trust Beck until I seem him change his behavior. Its simply a prudent stance to take.

Again, he can be a work-in-progress WITHOUT making unfounded, dangerous, deleterious and dishonest accusations against people whom he should support.

Thanks Bro. I know that many on this forum have very strong opinions about different things political and otherwise. Our thoughts and opinions are shaped by our backgrounds and life experiences. We can disagree at times on issues without becoming disagreeable. That is a big key to maintaining a spirit of brotherhood and friendship. There is no reason to take offense at others differences of opinion. The Lord tells us in the scriptures to come and let us reason together. As we do so in kindness and respect for our brothers and sisters we become a people deserving of spiritual direction.
