Hello,
I need some help on the whole mineral/oil rights issue in Utah. Most properties including rural seems to NOT come with them.
It is my understanding that the owner of said rights can come on your property, and drill, and so what if it damages your surface structures.
I am wondering what the Globalists can do with this. Take a rural county like Sanpete, or Juab, or similar. What is a real world it hits the fan scenario that can happen if you don't own the rights?
I especially want to hear from Dr.Jones since we all respect him, and he lives in a rural Utah county I understand. I also would like Jason's opinion, he seems to always know a ton about everything we discuss on here. There are a some others on here that know A LOT about a lot, Any help would be appreciated.

that's a good question. I have never thought of that in Utah, I don't think my bro's and neighbors have either. Uh, maybe I should check into it, that would stink if we don't have mineral rights, no one I know ever asks.

All I know is a friend of ours dose not have mineral rights. I think it was the state or someone that for 2 years drilled on there land. She said they kept moving from property to property to find minerals or whatever.
That seems pretty scary to me, you have a nice home, garden, etc, then someone who has underground rights can come in, damage your home, and just walk away....criminal
I am curious about the people who have sharon packer's fallout shelters underground. How would that work if they come to drill? I guess you had better tell them or they might drill into it!

maybe there is a way to see how much mineral/oil is under a property before you buy it? if there is a little, then maybe they won't be motivated to drill?

Re: mineral rights/oil rights in Utah questions?
I'm sure every state has its own laws governing mineral rights.
In North Dakota mineral rights are often owned by another entity other than the 'property' owner. Mineral rights on our farm are split on various parcels of land according to previous agreements signed decades ago. During the Great Depression mineral rights to a good portion of our land were sold for $10! That's when $5 would buy enough food to fill a wagon. Those mineral rights are 'renewed' every 17 years by the entity holding those deeded 'rights' - the Bank of London!
No oil or other minerals have been found in our area, but if that were to happen, we wouldn't have anything to say about some corporate entity coming in and drilling. On the parcels where we own a portion of the mineral rights, we would receive a percentage of the profit from the mineral sale. Of course, I would rather not have my land polluted and blighted.
The system that dominates the United States in our time has no regard for private property. If there is something they want, they will take it - through eminent domain, taxation, debt, extortion, fines, licensing, etc, etc..
