This crap makes me sick. I wish the Lord would come already so this stuff ends for a short while

Detective: Ogden mother killed twin son to make life ‘easier'

OGDEN -- Ogden police say a woman who murdered one of her twin babies in January did it because she only wanted one child.
Jewell Hendricks Early on, 25-year-old Jewell Hendricks admitted to killing her 2-month-old son Robert, saying it was because he wouldn't stop crying. In subsequent interviews, Detective Brian Eynon said Hendricks told him she had another motivation.
"She revealed that she didn't love Robert as much as she loved Daniel, and it would be much easier for her life if she only had one child instead of two," Eynon told KSL NewsRadio Thursday.
Additional details of the murder first emerged in a court hearing Wednesday. Eynon said Hendricks first placed Robert against her chest in a burping position and squeezed him hard enough to possibly break his collarbone.
She then put him in a sleeping bag, got on a couch and rolled over on top of him for several hours.

"I've handled multiple cases in the past that have been violent, and even more violent than this, but in this particular circumstance you have a 2-month-old baby who is innocent and is really murdered for no apparent reason other than selfish reasons of a mom wanting a better life or more quiet around the house."
Second District Court Judge Michael DiReda ordered Hendricks to stand trial for first-degree felony murder. Hendricks is due in court July 29 for a scheduling hearing.

I probably won't ever have children due to my ssa. I'm normally a pretty empathic person and have an ability to understand what drives people to commit the worst of crimes but this story makes me feel like I have a wasps nest in my brain. I am so angry right now.

Yeah I've read it. The problem is that I fear I may not have the stomach for the fruition of that prophecy. Oh it pisses me off that people are so selfish. Sorry just one of those days. So many mothers uncapable and so many longing fathers!

yeah I'm looking forward to the destruction....just get this mess over with and start over!

Jason, there is no "starting over" ... this is IT. Unless you mean the destruction preceeding the Second Coming? But that is not "starting over", it's just moving on with the plan.

I wish I hadn't read that! We need to have a good old fashioned orphanage where these psycho "parents" can drop off their children with no legal consequences, and many waiting adoptive families can adopt them.
As it is, the system here is getting worse and worse for adopting. My brother had a couple failed adoptions domestically, one successful domestic adoption, but they gave up on trying domestic adoption again for the second and found it MUCH easier to adopt from China. LDS Family Services pushes for couples to adopt foreign born children - at least around here - because it's so difficult to adopt domestically.
So why don't we just let these scumbags dump their kids? Heck, let's offer them a free cruise to do it.

We do have a place to drop off children like that with no consequences. Any emergecy room or firestation will take endangered children no questions asked.

That is sooo sad. jaw dropping, really. What bothers me the most is that she said she loved the one more than the other..........what parent says or even feels that, really???
Wasn't there another child in the SL area that was killed recently by his mother and her boyfriend?
The one thing that always makes me wish the Savior would come already is sex slavery in our country. No, I'm not talking about prostitution. I'm talking about children and teens being kidnapped or runaways being stolen and sold for sex (and bought by middle and upper class business men). We've had local cases of mothers pimping out their daughters in exchange for drugs. It's really sick, and I can't think of anything more devastating to the human soul.

Was she on antidepressants? The SSRI's like Zoloft, Paxil, Prosac have a flouride molecule which makes the medication 'attach' to the fat cells in the brain. I've heard that this family of pharmaceuticals is closely related to 'angel dust' - the stuff which causes a chemically induced hypnotic state in which people do horrible things without having any grasp of reality.

This story is very disturbing and extremely sad. The only comfort I take from it is the knowledge that everything that happens on this earth was known before it happened, by our Heavenly Father. This little spirit was selected to go to this mother (if you can call her that), because God's plan for that spirit was simply to come here and to receive a body. It makes me wonder who that spirit was.
It has been prophesied and reiterated many times, that one of the most clear signs that we are approaching the end, will be the behavior of the people. I continue to see and hear, almost daily, behavior that is shocking, without natural affection, hypocritical, rebellious, shameful, sinful, disgusting, and down-right evil.
Thank heavens there are also good things still occurring including miracles. If you have not done so yet, the time is not too late to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand the evil day.

In Oregon it's up to 30 days of age.

A couple from California have been arrested after allegedly trying to sell their six-month-old daughter outside a Wal-Mart for $25.
