A top aide to former Gov. Rod Blagojevich said he believed Barack Obama knew of Blagojevich's plot to win himself a presidential Cabinet post in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett to the U.S. Senate.

"The president understands that the governor would be willing to make the appointment of Valerie Jarrett as long as he gets what he's asked for. . . . The governor gets the Cabinet appointment he's asked for," Harris said, explaining a recorded call.

John Harris, Blagojevich's former chief of staff, testified Wednesday in the former governor's corruption trial that three days after the Nov. 4, 2008, presidential election, the ex-governor told Harris he felt confident Obama knew he wanted to swap perks.

If proven, this is an impeachable offense. So what's gonna take him down? This? His incompetence on so many fronts? The reckless, criminal spending that is destroying not only our generation, but future generations? The birth certificate issue? The Gulf oil travesty? Thoughts?

Military coup?

There are those who believe that General McCrystal did not "mispeak" or suffer a "lapse in judgment", that he knew exactly what he was doing. He put Obama in a no-win situation: tolerate insubordination and look weak, or fire him and look rash. Either way, he shows weakness. And Obama's handling of the situation has shown is glaring lack of knowledge of the military community. He has made many military enemies, and McCrystal will likely become their "leader".

We will bring down the POTUS by rule of law.

There should be two terms for politicians. One in government and one behind bars.

So what does it mean to impeach a president, anyway? Clinton was impeached but it didn't seem to change anything. He remained in office, and did all the backhanded things that a US president does now days and served until the end of his term and was praised by the media and others for being such a wonder president.

So what if Obama is impeached, if he's not then removed from office it means nothing as far as I can see.

I know who can bring down Obama.....the LORD!
