Rumors on Drudge that Rahm Emanuel may be stepping down...

Wonder if true and why. Rumors are that he is being thrown under the bus, being held as the responsible party regarding the bribery scandal a few weeks ago. The one that the MSM has been strangely quiet about.

And the bottom line is, that offer was not made without Obama's knowledge and approval. Having Rahm fall on his sword should not satisfy the public. Hopefully it will give the average Joe a sense of being able to force government to behave responsibly.

OK, that's going a bit far, time to get back to reality.

If Rahm does leave I wonder who the next CoS will be?

Maybe Rahm's oft-quoted statement about not
letting a good crisis go to waste is coming
back to haunt him, especially with respect
to the oil crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.

We certainly can't let a good SCANDAL go
to waste either, can we?

Good Ridance. Further evidence of when one of Obama's cronies gets in his way he throws them under the bus.

Evidently Rahm didn't read what Mikhail Bakunin had to say about his leader Karl Marx who Obama follows.
"Marx loved his own person much more than he loved his friends and apostles, and no friendship could hold water against the slightest wound to his vanity. Marx will never forgive a slight to his person. You must worship him, make an idol of him if he is to love you in return; you must at least fear him if he is to tolerate you. He likes to surround himself with pygmies, with lackies, and flatterers. All the same, there are some remarkable men among his intimates. In general, however, one may say that in the circuit of Max's intimates there is very little brotherly frankness, but a great deal of machination and diplomacy. There is a sort of tacit struggle, and a compromise between the self-loves, of the various persons concerned, and where vanity is at work there is no longer place for brotherly feeling. Everyone is on his guard, is afraid of being sacrificed, of being annihilated."

This comment fits the most brutal dictators/leaders this world has ever known: Suddam Hussein, Hitler, Castro, Mao, &
Lenin. If Rahm thinks it bad now, just wait another 2 years. Obama's actions and personality are eerily similar to those mentioned above and there will more heads to roll before he is finished. When you lay with pigs, pretty soon you smell like them Rahm.

I agree with everything BnBE, except for cajoling Rahm as if he is a wayward child who has just fallen in with a bad crowd. Rahm IS the bad crowd, he just has Obama as a superior. I think if possible things would be worse with Rahm in charge. Scratch that, but he would still be terrible.

Oh I believe Rahm knows full well who he was in bed with. I also believe Rahm has been instrumental in many underhanded ways to undermine the constitution and the American public. Rahm got caught in his OWN trap and deservingly so. It is akin to Satan abandoning Cain after he murdered Able. ....Well maybe that is really an extreme example but you get the point. Obama is throwing anyone who gets in his way under the bus. Rahm is just one of them.

Speaking of Rahm, I remember his thumbing his nose like some two yr old brat at President and Mrs Bush as they were leaving the White House just after the inauguration. Can you imagine that type of behavior for a chief of staff for the POTUS? What on earth has this country come to? Like I said....Good Ridance!!!
