Wow Mark, your post really blind-sided me there!

Forgive some of us who are not quite as enthusiastic in our support of brother Beck due to being labelled "home grown terrorists" for no other reason than who we supported for the GOP nomination...a statement that was never retracted or apologized for.

I continue to say - Glenn is making good progress and is waking up vast numbers of people. When he actually supports someone other than the establishment favorite in a race, I'll be glad to see him start walking the talk. But at least with his audience, even talking he is accomplishing some good. And hopefully he will wake enough people up, that come election time when he predicatably gushes on the establishment anointed and/or undermines the candidates who represent the very principles he gets all teary-eyed about, maybe a few of his listeners will be awake enough to actually see the disconnect and ask themselves "What the h-e- double hockey sticks???" But most likely, everyone is caught up in his cult of personality, they will say "Oh Glenn has showed us so much truth, he must have some inside information, he must know more than me, I better support whoever he says..."

Here's hoping that Glenn continues to improve, which he certainly has in the last couple of years. Let's hope he can apply the truths that he is waking people up to when it matters.

My feelings exactly. I just think it's funny that he refuses to say the words "New World Order" when he talks about global governance as if it were profanity.

Exactly O.I- Beck talks a mean game- but when he get's chance to actually "back up" his rhetoric, he balks.........I find it funny as heck that Beck has completely ignored Rand Paul, while even farther "right" commentators like Rush and Laura Ingram has talked about his great victory and the success Rand is having with the "tea party message"- which is the same message Beck spouts off everyday

Why would a man who preaches liberty, freedom and the Constitution ignore Rand Paul..........hmmmm I wonder - any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

Ezra Taft Benson was also trying to tell people that communism was that evil secret combination which is the same as the concept of the "New World Order" and that it has corrupted our government. Maybe Beck feels bad about his role in painting Rand's dad as a "kook" and telling everyone that he was "nuts" when he was running for President.

Strange how Beck would "support" Rand when he did his darnedest to harm Ron's run for the Presidency (and they both stand for the same things) - give him some time, when it really counts he will savage Rand- just like he did his dad.

GB has had a lot of pressure put on him of late to change some of the "appearances" of what he is doing.

Here is one example of something that has been going viral on the web. It is a clip of the last 10 minutes of one of Alex Jones' latest films that came out in April, 2010 -- Police State 4, The Rise of FEMA -- wherein GB is soundly exposed. Main stream media including CNN & Fox have been losing viewership in droves, as people have been awakening -- and no longer trust Main Stream Media. There has, therefore been considerable pressure brought to bear upon those networks (including GB) -- to give the appearance of "digging deeper" for the real truth on certain issues that won't hurt the establishment too much. It is a fine PR balance for them...like walking a tightrope...to try to regain some credibility -- yet not reveal too much of things that could really sink them...and you can rest assured, that that is a discussion that is taking place behind closed doors right now, amongst those directing the affairs of FOX -- which station specifically, is the mouthpiece to "conservatives" for the Secret Combination. Main Stream Media in general, is the mouthpiece of the Secret Combination -- to all people.

Thanks for that link and movie dconrad, that would explain something that makes no sense- like Beck trashing Ron Paul during the election, then cozying up to his son.

I think that anyone with a brain would not waste 10 minutes of there time with the MSM, when I travel I turn it on (I don't have t.v at home) and I'm always amazed at the amount of brainwashing that goes on.

Unfournately many LDS folks are only "awake" - or more correctly think that they are awake, because they watch/listen to Beck for 3+ hours a day Imagine how "awake" those saints would be if they read the Book of Mormon for the same amount of time that they devote to Beck everyday

Personally I'm growing tired of LDS folks coming up to me and saying things like "Hey - did you watch Beck last night, he said........"
And I'm thinking in my mind , yeah; Ezra Taft Benson was talking about that back in the 60's and 70"s

You're just not getting it my friend. Do you think that everyone who listens to Beck dissect the combinations of today on his show are LDS? Come on my friend think a little out of the box here. Millions of people who are hearing Becks information about Crime Inc and the onslaught currently taking place against the free market and the constitution are not LDS and have never read the Book of Mormon. We have hundreds of millions of people in this country. How many of them are LDS?

Without awakening the masses to what agenda's are at play currently in the white house and in congress and in the Unions etc etc as Beck is doing nothing will change and we in this country who love our God given rights will soon only have a fond memory of them and will get steamrolled by the progressives/socialists/marxists agenda.

The tea parties and the 9-12 project and any other positive program to educate people are not all comprised of only LDS people. This needs to be a group effort with ALL concerned citizens of all faiths who value freedom and the constitution. You should be cheering for Beck to reach as many people as possible so more and more can know what is going on with these revolutionaries and do something to stop them. Instead all I hear is complaints about Beck and how he isn't doing this or that enough for everyones liking here. Go to Becks link every day at watchglennbeck.com and listen to what he is saying day in and day out before trying to find ways to trash the man. Geez louise.

My point is this - Beck isn't telling us anything that we shouldn't already know- if we have paid the price to study, and do as our leaders have asked us to do.

When I have member after member (lifetime members in their 40s, 50s and 60s)- raving about how "Beck has figured out all this "Crime inc" stuff - I know we have a major problem in the church.

If you are "figuring" out secret combinations because of Beck - and you have been a lifelong member, you are l-a-z-y and probably not too famaliar with the Book of Mormon- or the teachings of our modern prophets.

I get it Mark- in the end Beck will do as much for Liberty as Rush, Hannity, or Levin has done.
Money over principle, Party over truth, celebrity over character, entertainment over true learning.
Stephen Pratt ( look him up) has done more for the cause of Liberty last year than Beck and he hasn't recieved a dime for it, he's LDS and he does it without swearing and making people fearful like Beck does.

I would rather read a good book than waste my time listening to a man who tells me that Bill O'Reilly is his good friend, John McCain is an honorable man, and "I'm a Libertarian at heart" ( when the man clarly doesn't even understand the word).

I can learn more about freedom in one afternoon by reading "The Law" by Bastait one more time than all of Beck's "chalk board" sessions for the intellectually impaired put together.

I already vented so now I will show the kinder gentler side of me Bro. Members of the church are excited about Beck because he is doing good with their non-member Christian friends as he exposes the shenanigans of those who are working to enslave us all with their anti God agenda's. I have non member friends who are very complementary of Becks programs and we discuss the issues he is presenting all the time. This has given me opportunities to explain some concepts from the Book of Mormon to these folks because of what Beck has been exposing about things like Crime Inc.

Like it or not many people tune into cable news and most of what they see on CNBC and CNN and many of the channels are just a bunch of socialist crap from ideologues. Finally they tune into Beck and he strikes a cord with their conservative values and constitutional leanings. This provides a forum for like minded people to discuss these issues and get involved in doing what they can to stand up for righteous values and principles. It is a great missionary tool for LDS to use with their non LDS friends who are aware that Beck is LDS. Sure he isn't perfect and is human but he is still reaching people who are crying out for someone to tell the truth about those in the progressive movement and much of what he is discussing goes hand in hand with scriptural accounts of wicked combinations. We as LDS should use any available opportunites that come from an interest in Becks program to reiterate the parallels from the Book of Mormon.

Some need to work on other aspects in their lives. Maybe you should use the oportunity to be a teacher instead of being anoyed by others. You act like the movie star who has no time for anyone else and is put off by others who appear to be on a lower level.

teacher? - the student must be ready to learn. True learning never comes from a "teacher" - real learning comes from self-study. Most folks have zero desire to "learn" abou these things- because they feel like they know it all because they listen to Beck/Hannity/Rush/Levin all day!!!!

Trust me I try, and I'm not a smart @#$$ like I am on this forum, I just listen and wait for the the right moment, but it rarely comes from those who drink the talk radio kool aid daily, as previously stated- they already "know" everything.

Shouldn't we be happy when others are trying to learn? I would be more concerned about the intentions of their heart rather than what there current understanding in the gospel is.

If my child was trying to learn about the anatomy of the human body by looking at Playboy- would it be appropriate for me to allow them to continue their study of the subject in that manner? Certainly one could learn quite a bit about the body by studying Playboy- but is it the best way to study? - Is their a better outlet?

How about sex- what if my kids think that vieing porn is a great way to learn about sex- no one can deny that much about sex could be learned by watching porn- but is it the correct view of the sexual relationship?

My friend - Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Rush are the "pornography" of Freedom and Liberty- just like porn, it is attractive and "looks" ok at first, but once you dig deeper you find that it's just a holgram - or a lie.

Prove me wrong, just like porn these men are motivated by power and money- take away the money from any one of these men and see how much preaching they do about "Freedom, Liberty and the Constitution"- I bet you dollars to donuts each one goes back to "spining the hits"

It is a great missionary tool for LDS to use with their non LDS friends who are aware that Beck is LDS.

I just wish that Beck would act more like he is LDS, he sure doesn't sound like any LDS leader I've known- except J. Golden Kimball
