Can anyone expand on the meaning of Isaiah? Specifically, is he speaking of modern warfare when referring to the horses' hoofs, hair of a woman, etc, or is it as Anthony Larson suggests, a comet/planet that brings these signs? I always thought Isaiah was speaking of helicopters and war.
Isaiah 5:28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
Another example from Larson's Vol. II book is speaking of the mountain top. He discussed the formation yet to be created in Jeruselem. I thought that this occurred with the building of the SL Temple. It there a dual meaning that another mountain will be estabilished as the house of God? Is this the replacing of the Dome on the Rock with the Jeruselem Temple?
Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths" (see Isaiah 2:2–3) LeGrand Richards said that he thinks that the temple in Salt Lake is the very house of the God of Jacob.
