Any thoughts on the California Plastic Grocery bag ban

Get me the H*** out of this state! I heard this on the radio at work and I almost lost it.
"Stores could charge no less than 5 cents for recycled paper bags if customers don't have their own bag."

I lived in southern CA for 7+ years when I was working. The traffic drove me nuts. It took nearly two hours sometimes to get from Los Angeles to Riverside. The only thing I miss is the nice weather, especially while living in Orange County, that's where I went upon arriving in CA on a turnip truck and then falling off the rear end.

Other than that, Ba, Humbug.
I was working in Alhambra on graves in 1994 when a "big one" earthquake struck. Wow, what a ride that was.

Banning is a horrible idea-no matter who you are.
Stores charging for using them-purely up to the company.
Using less plastic bags-great idea.
