Post by britjas »

I found this dream about 2003. What do you guys think of it?

My Dream Of A Future Event
As told by our brother/brother-in-law

Background:

I have a college degree in Criminal Justice from Trinity University in Souix Falls, South Dakota. I also attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. After serving a two-year LDS Church mission in Northern California, I served in the military intelligence branch the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. Then I joined the County Sheriff's Department in Texas where I live and retired in 1989. I am married and have nine children.

On Tuesday, April 5, 2005 while traveling home from the Houston, Texas temple with my wife, my sister and her husband we were discussing events from the book "There Is No Death" by Sarah Menet. (Prior to this time I had never heard of Sarah Menet or Roger K. Young.)

When my brother-in-law mentioned about a convoy of large semi trucks traveling westward at the time we are called to the safety of the mountains, my dream returned clearly to me and I then related the dream to them. Up to this time I had not told anyone about the dream.

I have believed for some time the many stories told by members and our church leaders who have warned us that the time would come that we as members of the church would be asked to live the United Order and be called by our church leaders to flee to the safety of the mountains in the west.

I have believed this to be Utah and the surrounding inter mountains for protection against outlaw elements and a breakdown of our civil government prior to the second coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.

The dream came as no real suprise to me, but I just decided to keep the dream to myself... until now.

My dream of a future event occurred in the summer of 1988 at my home. For three nights in a row, the dream continued and each night I would pick up where the dream left off the night before. At the time I was serving in the Bishopric of the Vidor Ward, Orange, Texas Stake.

My dream is as follows:

I, along with several others, were called to attend a special meeting with the Stake President and the High Council of our stake. Upon arrival at the Stake Center, I noticed those called to attend included Bishops, their councilors, doctors in our stake and those like me who had prior military experience and/or police experience or both, as was my case.
I do not recall the names of the Stake President or the various Bishops, doctors or others that I care to name at this time, but the meeting was about the current breakdown of law and order and the coming troubles facing our nation.

Things were bad for our nation at this time both inside and outside with war raging throughout the world, but war had yet to come to our shores.
The feeling I had in this dream was it was just a matter of time. The Stake President said that orders had come from Salt Lake City that it was now time for us in our stake to take in members from Louisiana who had been gathering in and around Lake Charles.

He said we were to open our homes to the members and help them. As soon as we gathered all we could from Louisiana to safety in Vidor, we would travel as a group to a gathering place near Woodville, Texas and meet with the Beaumont, Texas Stake.

We were going to organize into units as in the old days; families of ten, then one hundred, then one thousand. The Bishops would be organizing the tens and hundreds, but the larger numbers would be by Stake Presidents. This order was not only for us in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana.

I understood that Houston, Texas was organizing and Saints from the eastern parts of the country were fleeing west in large groups, mainly for protection in numbers. My part in all this was to be part of the security force that was being organized. We were to organize units as a military security force to protect our movements.

The dream continued. I saw a large tent city at my brother's ranch south of Evadale, Texas at Wiess Bluff. I saw a smaller one at my old home place where my sister lives and one at my other sister's land. I also saw other groups camping in and around North Vidor. I saw later that we were ordered to move from these camps to the Woodville, Texas area.

Much distrust came from outsiders. I remember clearly that Orange, Texas was rather hostile to the Mormons and we did not attempt to set up any camps there. Vidor was more tolerant, Evadale was somewhat hostile toward us, but our strength in numbers prevented them from attacking us.

I helped negotiate a peace treaty with the leaders of the people of Evadale to allow us to cross the Neches River bridge without interference. I saw thousands of camp fires surrounding Lake Tejas near Woodville as this was one of our camps where we met up with the Beaumont, Texas Stake.

There was not yet a total breakdown of law and order so we received some help from law enforcement in our movements and camp sites. Shortly thereafter, we moved as a group by trucks, cars, buses and some semi trucks northwest. Near Gatesville, Texas at the site of a military fort called North Fort Hood, we met some regular army people or National Guardsmen who were stationed there.

They asked us to accept several army tanks as they feared these tanks would eventually fall into the wrong hands or be taken by force by several outlaw gangs. They were about to abandon the fort and therefore wanted the tanks to go to Utah where there was still law and order and some official acting government of the United States who would be restoring order to the nation.

Several of the soldiers joined our group because they had nowhere else to go. The army provided us with large semi-tractor trailer vehicles to load and move the tanks. Many other vehicles were provided, including large gasoline tankers along with fuel, weapons and food. Before this time, we had to scrounge around for gas and supplies and sometimes negotiate with money for needed items.

It seemed the whole world was falling apart, especially Europe except for England. Wars were everywhere and the United States had committed troops everywhere, but since the federal government had declared national martial law, had federalized most of state and local law enforcement and suspended the courts, many people began resisting. Our armies overseas were being recalled to help restore order, but many upon return had just simply refused orders or deserted.

I recall now that my dream showed several large cities in a state of rebellion with mob rule and large gangs, private armies or volunteer armies all fighting for control with the federal government unable to do much to restore law and order. The cities I remember were Los Angeles, St. Louis, Washington D. C. and New York City. San Francisco, Seattle and Denver at the time of our travel were just about in the hands of the outlaw mobs.

All civil rules had vanished. Troops had withdrawn from the cities. There were other cities, but I don't remember if they were in total disarray at this time or if that happened after we all got to Utah. I do recall that things got so bad in Washington D.C. that the government along with the President had flee to safety.

By this time it was no big secret that the Mormons and their friends were fleeing to the Rocky Mountains for safety. From Fort Hood we headed northwest, but we were not to go by way of Denver, Colorado as that city was already too dangerous for anyone to travel through. Those fleeing to Utah were advised to go around Colorado. We traveled slowly through New Mexico being careful to negotiate our way through the towns and cities.

I do not remember much about Alberquerque, but Gallup, New Mexico, Ship Rock, New Mexico, Southwestern Colorado and Southeastern Utah were trouble zones. Somewhere in one of the trouble zones we had a major battle against a large hostile force that attempted to ambush us. We off-loaded several tanks and easily defeated this force. Also in the trouble zone, armed groups stopped them to get food and also wanted their women. Our response was, "We'll give you bullets (shoot you), but not our women!"

Along the long route, many others joined us, mostly non-members. Traveling near us, but not directly with us were two other large groups of members, one from East Texas and the other either from Houston or Austin, Texas. We were in contact with them. Near Green River, Utah we met large church security units from within Utah who were there defending the way west into Utah and Price Canyon.

I was suprised to meet my son in the Price area where he commanded a company-sized unit, all well-armed. He had been very worried about us and especially his mother and sisters. He said we could come to his place and be with him and my wife's two sisters.

(At this time of my dream, my son was still in high school and living at home. Later he served a full-time mission for the church in Italy, then spent four years at BYU. Later he married a girl from Utah and currently lives there.)

We were then escorted through Price Canyon. Along the way I saw many defensive positions. At Soldier's Summit I saw a huge military camp with tanks, artillery, helicopters and anti-aircraft guns. Here we turned over our tanks and some of the single men and soldiers in our group for re- assignment. It seemed to me that nobody passed Green River without permission.

Once into Spanish Fork, Utah, most of the people were sent to camps already prepared. Some were out near Nephi, Delta and west of Utah Lake. I was to understand that many camps were located through Utah and many were already full of Saints from overseas. My family went directly to my son's home. Then I remember with much pain that one or more of my children had not yet arrived to the safety of the Rocky Mountains. My dear wife suffered much until they eventually arrived safely.

After most of the church had gathered into the safety of the rockies, the rest of the world began to really fall apart. Many who had not traveled to the Rockies the first time attempted to come, but found the way blocked by outlaw gangs or of thugs who preyed heavily upon them. There were few who made it. The whole world including the United States was at war to the like the world had never seen. There was no true safety or law and order in America.

I remember later a large hostile army that came from California by way of Reno, Nevada to fight us, but after a year of hard fighting, they retreated back to California. At about this same time another larger army came from Denver, Colorado, but after a short time and with very heavy loses on their side, trying to force their way into Price Canyon, they retreated back to Denver. My dream finally ended with a general sense of peace and safety as the rest of the world continued to war.

Question & Answers:

Since recording my dream and having several people read it, a few simple questions or concerns have been expressed. I believe this is a good place to answer them.

•First is the question of time. The year of the event is not known, but it was sometime in the near future. The gathering had already begun before our trip west. It had started prior to the world war and members began coming quietly from overseas to Utah. Many from the west coast were already in camps in Utah. The borders of America were open because it seemed to me the Border Patrol was less effective at this time and later was called upon to help with riot control in the major cities.
The gathering in Southwest Louisiana had been quietly going on for several months. The move from Lake Charles, Louisiana, took only a week. The collected Saints came not only from Louisiana, but some had already come from places such as Mississippi, Florida and Georgia. In Vidor, Texas, they remained about two months or less before the general move to the Woodville, Texas area.
We remained in that area for about a month or less. The trip from Woodville to Utah lasted about two or three weeks. Vehicles broke down on the way. Some that could not be quickly repaired were abandoned on the side of the roads. The Captains of ten and one hundreds were responsible to see that the families and or supplies were transferred to other vehicles in their group. A lot of baggage was left behind. Many had over packed and found themselves arriving in the mountains with just the clothes on their backs.
The attacks on Utah from California and Colorado came some time after our arrival, maybe a year or less. The war with California lasted more than a year, but the attack from Colorado lasted less than six months. Both attacks came at about the same time, but were not coordinated by our enemies.
•Second question is about the number of people. I was never really sure on the numbers, but it seemed to me there were about two thousand from the Lake Charles area and less than a thousand from our stake. Sadly, less than half of our Ward would go. Many had too many other worries and said it wasn't bad enough yet and they'd come later... maybe. These are the ones who tried to come later and who suffered the cruelty inflected upon them by gangs and mob law. This was happening throughout the country with the gathering. As one looks now at numbers less than 40% of Wards today are considered active. Less than half that number hold temple recommends or pay their tithing and offerings. I fear only the faithful will answer the call to move west.
•The third question was about the breakdown of the civil government and law and order. I did not see a total breakdown of the government for the entire nation. We flew the current American flag as did other groups outside the Church and who still believed in freedom and America, but they were disorganized and many misguided in their various causes. Many cities and States fell apart as rebellion and riots with mob rule, continued to grow. Simply put, I saw the cities and State police, now under federal control, could not stand up to so much crime and disorder. Even with the help of the Army and National Guard, many cites were lost to the mobs.
It seemed to me that when the government suspended rights and the courts, imposed martial law throughout the land, then forced food and gasoline rations and imposed other oppressive means, some unlawful, the people got fed up with it, and the riots and rebellion started.
Local taxes and the Federal Income taxes were not paid and with the failure of banks, the stock market unable to operate, along with very high oil prices and limited food, it was a general breakdown of control.
Banks and stores were robbed with local officials and judges murdered. Even with the military recalled home, many soldiers wouldn't fire upon fellow Americans. The Church warned the Saints to obey the law, but a few hot heads didn't listen. I saw even Salt Lake City faced with unrest. But I did see that by the time we arrived in Utah Valley, Salt Lake City and the rest of the State had effective law and order.
•A fourth question arose from the third question. What about the banks and our money? At the time of our move to Utah, most banks had failed. The stock market was unable to operate in New York City. Money was still around, but a lot of people didn't trust it. We used money to bribe some of the people to allow us to pass safely through their towns. Since we were under the United Order, most of our cash money went to the Bishop to use as he saw fit. Still many gangs and mobs lusted for money and gain. They would kill even for money that was soon to be worthless.
•The fifth question was about the wars. I'm not sure how the world war started, but it had to do with oil in the Middle East and Israel. European nations, facing no oil, got involved. About this same time Russia was on a course to regain their past glory and clashed with just about everyone. Meanwhile, war had began between India and Pakistan. Iran had stirred up trouble in the Middle East and had something to do with starting the war with Israel, but I'm not sure how. All I remember is that war was everywhere in the world.
•A sixth question had to do with the missionaries. I did not recall any full time missionaries serving in the United States or anywhere else in the world at the time of our movement. I believe missionaries had already been to Israel, but had been recalled because of the war. This I'm not sure of. I think there was some missionary work still going on in Mexico and in South America. They were not from the United States, but were local Elders from the various countries. There was no missionary work going on in North America.
•Then the question about Mexico, Central America and South America. What was happening there? I'm not sure, except there was no mad rush for them to go to Utah, but there was some, mainly from Northern Mexico, Arizona, Texas and California. I just didn't see what happened there. War came to them I know. I saw Spanish American people fighting for the Church in the California war, so apparently some came to Utah.
•A final question about the North American Indians. What did they do? I saw that at first they were very suspicious of everyone and especially the federal government, but I did see that they came in mass to the aid of the Church because many were already members and they saw the Saints treat them fairly. This happened at the time of the attacks on Utah.

Today a lot of my dream makes more sense to me, but at the time it was confusing, though as I said before, I already accepted the general facts of what may be or more likely will happen unless this nation repents... which isn't likely to happen as we continue to sink deeper into the coming events spoken by our leaders about the very last days.

I have always hoped to have passed on before all this comes about, but I now see my lovely children and grandchildren who will have to face all of this... I think I'd rather be with them through all this and try to help and save them.

Dreams are like warnings to us or a way to give information. The dream was about me and my family. I take it as such. I do not speak for the Church, but for myself and to some degree, my family. Sometimes we can change things or make it a little better.

I believe it's a warning to prepare, stock up the year's supply, stay temple worthy and teach your family the truth. We can't change a lot of things that will happen to this world, but we can make a difference upon ourselves and our families. We can be prepared.
I say to all who read my dream to be prepared like the five wise virgins were when the bridegroom came. Hope to see you in the rockies when the time comes. I'll be there... will you?

There is no name attached to this dream. I have actually been to Vidor Texas (it is a small small town.)and know someone from that stake down there who lived there back when he says he had it. If I had a name I could check and see if he is real.

I can't say wether this is true or not but I don't have a problem with any of it as I had a very similar personal experience a few years ago. Just not so much detail. The message was the same: the time to get spiritually and physically prepared is now!

And maybe that is the purpose of your dream or of this man's dream. that it is the time to get spiritually and physically prepared. It may not mean that things will literally happen this way.

I agree. It depends on how the flow of future events unfold. When I was a young boy of about 7 years old, I had dreams about the cities of safety and of the eventual need to grab the constitutional records from D.C. before the area was totally destroyed. I also didn't understand much about the dream at seven years of age, but most of the dream makes sense to me now. I had lots of dreams at that time of my life about future events, and because of them, I had anxiety and panic attacks until mt teenage years.

Charles Evans? I too have a dream like it somewhere in one of my stacks. I know that the membership of the church will receive three warnings to flee unto Zion!

Those of us here, get chickens!

Has anything come true yet, or are they still future events?

I currently live in Vidor, TX and am a relative of the dreamer. I can attest that everything he described could actually happen just like that. Pres. R. Evans was the Stake Pres at the time but has since moved to another state. It does seem most logical and likely that the saints in Southwest Louisiana would gather in Lake Charles and then move to Williamson (North Vidor). The currently large LDS population there would be a temporary safe-haven. His brother's and sister's properties are large enough for substantial tent cities. Orange would most certainly be hostile! Evadale could easily be dealt with during the trek to cross the Neches River! It's all so plausible!

I'm fascinated by the 3 consecutive nights for this dream. I've never had such an experience but think it must be a great blessing. I don't know whether or not this will actually come to pass but if it does, I'm convinced that it will unfold exactly as he described. Our area has some wonderful Saints that would have made great pioneers. Unfortunately, he is right that some will not want to leave their comforts until it is too late.

I pray that we can all stay in tune to the Spirit and continually follow the Prophet as there will be many challenges ahead no matter how long before the Lord's return.

Dreamer talks about Salt Lake City in the Future !

Quoie:A number of these dreams have involved planning for what I've come to see as an exodus of the prepared Saints from their homes, to places of relative safety. The first dreams that described plans and preparations did not occur until well into the sequence of dreams I've experienced. They did NOT occur at first. One of the most puzzling things about the dreams as a group, is that they did not come to me in a logical sequence, beginning to end. It's been left to me to make sense out of them, even when they appear to be far out of order.

Dream Summary ONE

From what my dreams have told me, I gather that the prepared Saints are leaving their homes to escape the end of the world as we've known it. The planning for this exodus has been under way at high levels in the church for years. Vast amounts of preparation have gone into the effort before it is ever made known at the Stake or Ward levels. Resources are already in place before the events shown in the dreams begin to take place.

The first dreams in the chronology take place in what is obviously my own Stake Center in xxxxxxx, Utah. There are a series of meetings which take place in the High Council Room (which I recognize) of this building, between brethren that I do not recognize, and members of my own Stake Presidency and High Council. These meetings are attended only by invited brethren, and the strictest confidence is maintained.

Other similar meetings are being held throughout the Church. Each area's responsible leaders report to headquarters at Salt Lake City by various means, including telephone, electronic mail, and even satellite link when necessary.

At these meetings, a plan is revealed for getting the prepared Saints from their homes to prearranged places of relative safety. Over the course of a number of these meetings, the effort is organized in a manner strikingly similar to that used when the Saints were preparing to leave the eastern U.S. for the valleys of the Great Basin.

There are to be overall leaders in charge of large numbers of people. Under these brethren, others serve as captains of 100, and as captains of 20. Logistics are managed using the basic underpinnings of emergency preparedness that the Church has been teaching since the 1930's.

Arrangements for trucks to haul food storage items and other necessities are made. Telephone calling trees are arranged as necessary, as are other means of communication, including specific people assigned as runners, couriers, and go-betweens when necessary.

Finally, on one critical Sabbath day, as the normal meeting block nears its end, the bishop of my ward (and presumably bishops throughout the church on the same day) stands at the pulpit, and gives a rather strange announcement. He asks that those who have their year's supply of food and other necessities ready at home, stay behind at the end of meeting block. All others (including curiosity seekers) are pointedly asked NOT to attend. This is strictly enforced.

Once the furor has died down, and the chapel doors have again been closed (being guarded by trusted brethren preassigned to the task), the Bishop lays out a plan which requires a great deal of faith from the attendees. He says that very early on the following morning, trucks manned by able-bodied brethren will move around the ward, and these men will upload the food storage supplies, carefully marked as to who they belong to, from the homes of each of the prepared families into the trucks for transport.

Family members will be asked to prepare themselves and their immediate families for a long journey, as they will be away from home for an extended period. These people will be loaded onto buses for a journey to a place of safety. These people are warned that conditions will often be quite harsh, and that creature comforts as such will be few.

A few families will be allowed to bring RV's, house trailers and the like, with the understanding that these will be used for special purposes after arrival at the destination. Some of these RV's will have been equipped by their owners for special purposes such as generating power or heat, providing makeshift command posts, improvised medical infirmaries, and the like. Strict attention will be paid to practicality, and few resources expended on luxuries. Allowances will be made for pregnant women, those currently ill, and for newborn infants to be housed in such "hardened" quarters as the RVs may provide. Most ward members will be quartered in tents, or whatever other shelter may be available at the various destination points.

Most ward members will be asked to leave with only what they are wearing, and a few small bags containing personal items, prescription medications, and other similar necessities. They are to lock their homes securely, and bring with them only essential items, important papers, and so on.

The whole process is to be done quietly, with an effort being made to maintain as much secrecy as possible. It is stressed repeatedly that there is no reason to fear, but that there are real reasons for haste.

One of the most vivid of the dreams (and among the first I experienced) has repeated itself quite a number of times, each time from a slightly different point of view, and with different feelings and impressions noted each time.

The scene is the west parking lot of my Stake Center. It's evident that similar events are occurring throughout the church.

It's very early on what appears to be a morning in late winter in the valley of the Great Salt Lake. The moon has set in the west not long before, and the constellation Orion isn't far above the western horizon. As I stand in the parking lot of the building, looking toward the east, I see the constellations that will, in a few weeks, be part of the springtime evening sky rising at this pre-dawn hour.

The position of the constellations, coupled with the fact that participants are dressed in winter clothing, and that there are still patches of unmelted snow on the ground confirms that the time of year is indeed, late winter.

People are milling about, speaking in hushed tones. Only a few lights are burning in the Stake Center. Most light comes from flashlights carried by brethren helping families onto buses which wait grouped around the building. The whole effort is well organized and orderly, as sleepy-eyed children and their somewhat bewildered parents are helped aboard buses, while a careful accounting is kept of which families are aboard which buses. No one must be left behind, and family members must not be allowed to get separated.

The supply trucks and RV's have already moved out when the last of the buses is loaded, and the journey to prepared places of refuge begins. The buses move out in caravan well before the first rays of sunlight touch the mountains to the west.

As this dream ends each time, I hear the squeak of snow underfoot, and the crunching of small cinders under my boot soles as I walk down the steep hills toward home. The air is almost painfully cold in the pre-dawn darkness. The Stake Center sits now fully darkened, its parking lots empty behind me, and I feel alone almost to the point of fear.

For reasons that have never been made clear, I have been asked (along with a few others in my area) to remain behind. The reasons for this haven't been made clear, except that they have something to do with the xxxxxxx Temple. One of the greatest mysteries in this whole series of dreams is why I've been asked to stay behind when there are so many better-qualified brethren among us. I just don't know....

As time has gone on, I have had many dreams which speak of economic collapse not just in our country, but around the world. America's great power, both economic and military, has been eroded to the point where America is just one poor nation among many. Oil and related energy prices have risen to the level where just getting by takes every dollar most families can generate. Gasoline, what little there is of it, is simply too expensive to use for most of us. Personal cars lie abandoned in driveways, or wherever in the streets they ran out of fuel.

Natural gas for heating homes no longer flows through the pipelines much of the time. Most of us live in cold, rather dark homes. Candles are at a premium, since electrical power is only available a few hours a day, when it's available at all. People have been forced to hunker down. Times are harder than we've experienced since pioneer days.

Food is in similarly short supply, since the energy costs in producing it have outstripped the resources of the producers. Civilian air travel has virtually ceased, since energy costs have made running a profitable airline almost impossible. Only military aircraft pass overhead, albeit infrequently. Railroads still operate at skeleton levels, moving what little freight remains to be transported.

Internationally, much of western Europe is all but dark, since oil flowing to the west from the former Soviet Union has been all but cut off by those running the Kremlin. Old alliances are being firmed up again between mainland China and the Russian bear. Naval fleets are being readied, as are the largest standing armies in the world.

The Middle East is afire, with Israel hanging on by its fingernails, struggling just to exist in a world bent on its destruction. Al Qaida and similar organizations have turned much of the world into a killing ground, from the Middle East, through Indonesia and the Far East. Radical Islam holds sway in an ever-growing portion of the world. Terrorism is rampant.

Through all of this, the U.S. military is entirely unable to cope. Its resources have been consumed, and its personnel driven beyond exhaustion in wars of attrition in the Middle East, and on the Korean peninsula. Government leadership has ordered them to fight on, even when it has become obvious that victory is impossible. Aircraft, vehicles, and fighting gear from tanks to rifles is/are all worn out, and there is no funding to replace them. The once-proud military of the Cold War has been replaced by a force of willing, brave men and women, with nothing to fight with. Determination can only carry these people so far; and they've exceeded that limit.

Australia's position in the world has become untenable. Since virtually all of its fuel, metal, oil, and other raw material needs must be met via import from overseas, this huge island is effectively just that; a large and helpless island. Starvation has become commonplace, as has disease, and the lawlessness that comes with despair. Airline travel has all but stopped, and ships leaving the country are few. Piracy on the high seas has become commonplace in the waters around both Australia and New Zealand. Murder of crews and passengers is commonplace, and beyond the reach of law enforcement to control. To travel away by sea is not a good alternative.

The media have been taken over by propaganda-generating organizations. People are being lied to on the grandest scale in human history. The United States is slowly being invaded by outside forces, military and paramilitary. There are only limited moves to stop the invasion, since most people are unaware that it is happening.

Starvation has become commonplace, as has disease, and the lawlessness that comes with despair.
I was under the impression that Australia had a lot of metals and coal. I thought they even had some oil. I don't really know. I have just heard things that gave me that impression. I know a few years back they were paying starting geologists as much as doctors and lawyers over there because they were so much in demand. They also produce(ed?) uranium.

One of the dreams starts out alot like Dannion Brinkley's near death experience;

I saw in my dream the Great Seal of the United States, cartoonish images of Ronald Reagan. I saw the homelessness and starvation of the people of the African continent, actually seeing a child starving to death. After that I saw that things were getting bad financially and rioting in the streets of the United States.

I then saw one of the cities of light, being in Utah. It now appears I fled to Utah when things got too bad in Arizona. Shortly after I arrived there, there was a special meeting held between several politicians, a few church leaders, the Prophet, and yours truly. The Prophet told us that things were going to quickly deteriorate in the United States, and that it now became necessary to grab the Constitutional records from D.C. before D.C. was to be destroyed. Several of us, no more than five were chosen. I was part of the group and actually drove. When we hit the St. Louis, Missouri area we were met by a large mob who wanted to do us harm. As they started to drag us out of the vehicle, those that were trying to harm us started to fall to the ground, and startled the mob and we were able to pass through to D.C. without harm.

When we arrived in D.C. everything was bizzare. There was no one there. The sky all around us was a deep color of red. I said a prayer thaking our Heavenly Father for our safe arrival. The group of us were emotional and in tears because of the opposition of what we had faced and because of our safe arrival. As we started to grab the records we were shown where everything was by angelic help, literally.

After everything was acqiured we rushed to leave the area quickly, because of a prompting. As we were speeding west, my dream allowed me to see that a huge tsunami was starting to hit the East Coast. Then my dream abruptly ended.

Charles Evans? I too have a dream like it somewhere in one of my stacks. I know that the membership of the church will receive three warnings to flee unto Zion!

Those of us here, get chickens!

Hey, Bob...can you elaborate on the three warnings? I've never heard that before (or just maybe not studied it enough to notice :-)) Thanks.

For my own personal reasons what did the prophet look like? I have seen him too. He is probably around 40, long hair, and like Moses he comes pretty much out of nowhere. Just curious if you saw him in enough detail?

Also, as for the constitutional records, I have never heard that, maybe true. I know the Kingdom of God (general council) was set up in Nauvoo to be the political kingdom to see us into the millenium. We will indeed save the constitution, as in its principles.

I really can't remember who it was, but during the meeting everyone was well dressed in suits and ties. It happened within days , perhaps a week or so after I arrived there. I don't remember anyone with long hair, but we could have been at different locations or arrived at different times. Hope that helps.

Mullenite... I found myself reading this with much intrigue... thanks for posting! I can actually see something like this occurring... the descriptions for church preparations and actions sound a lot like the way the church would do things under circumstances such as are depicted here.

It is common when the Lord desires to give a witness of a dream that He will have the dream repeated two or more nights in a row. It has to do with the Law of Witnesses. All things must have two or more witnesses to them if they are from Heavenly Father: and that means that witnesses can be things other than people.

I have had one dream repeated 5 nights in a row, but that was a dream about genealogy work designed to get me to find a lost family line. Found the line and it was exactly as the dream indicated.

Back to these warning dreams, I know of many people, myself included that have had these type of dreams.

In one dream, I have seen martial law on the Salt Lake temple grounds.

In another dream, downtown Salt Lake city buildings falling, except for the Salt Lake temple.

I have seen Stakes of members walking on foot into the rocky mountains and makeshift medical centers set up. I have been told to dedicate my time to learning medicine that can be used without conventional means.

I have been shown the wickedness of a future generation and the results of the judgments of the Lord being brought down upon them. I have been shown how BYU professors will turn their backs on further light and knowledge and how many of the membership will be led into the simple lull of political society trusting only in the arm of flesh.

I have been shown that many members will turn their backs to the words of the prophets and esteem themselves above the nations of the earth and above the temples of the Lord, covering this with displays of "righteousness."

So here is the truth of it all: whether or not these things truly happen, the Lord is truly sending each and every one of us warnings so that we can spiritually and physically prepare for future calamities and events.

...So that we can all repent and come unto Christ with a full purpose of heart. So that we will know how to hear His voice when the world and disasters are the loudest.

This is a fascinating topic to contemplate. RKY compiled a book of dreams and visions that sound like these same dreams. My brother in law in Arizona has had a dream that was scary to him, but was assured his family would be spared. Along this same line of thinking, I have a non-member friend that is a fellow engineer at the rocket plant in Northern Utah that is shutting down if Obama has his way (our country's ability to make intercontinental missiles and get to space will be gone). I have shared with him the financial condition of our country and other countries in the world. He started going off about how bad it could get if the monetary system failed. He mentioned big cities back east where people would kill each other to take food and survive. He said that Utah had a group that would stabilize the area. I asked him what group and he said the LDS. I told him that the church would take all those who would join with it if we came to that point. I must say I was quite surprised about his feelings about the church organization. A couple of us LDS guys at work have been indirectly teaching him the gospel, a bit at a time. I started pondering the thought and wondered how he dealt with such possibilities without a knowledge of the big plan and the final turnout.
